HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team returns home to the People's United Center on Thursday, as it continues conference-play vs. Saint Peter's. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. in Hamden on ESPN3.
THE MATCHUP: vs. SAINT PETER'S
- The Peacocks come into the contest at 5-6 on the season and 2-0 in MAAC contests
- Saint Peter's comes to Hamden with a three-game win streak, sweeping the Buffalo MAAC trip, followed by a 73-52 road win over Fairleigh Dickinson in its last time out on Dec. 22
- Junior Kassondra Brown leads the Peacocks in points (15.0), rebounds (9.6), assists (2.5) and blocks (0.7) per game
- Thursday will mark the 15th Div. I meeting between the Bobcats and Peacocks, dating back to their first contest when Quinnipiac joined the MAAC in 2014

- Quinnipiac has enjoyed a great deal of success over the past four seasons when building a first half lead. After starting 2016-17 with a mark of 2-0 when owning a halftime lead, the Bobcats saw one of their most impressive streaks in program history come to an end in a 71-68 loss at Temple.
