SPENGLER CUP BOUND
- Sophomore forward Chris Pelosi earned a selection on the US Collegiate Selects squad for the 2025 Spengler Cup, to be held Dec. 26-31 in Davos, Switzerland. The Boston Bruins draft pick is one of 15 rostered forwards and one of two ECAC selections (Ryan Walsh, Cornell).
- Entering the weekend, the Sewell, N.J., native is third in the country with three game-winning tallies. Pelosi has recorded 11 points since Nov. 8, tied for the most in the country with teammate Ethan Wyttenbach and three other skaters.
- He has 42 points over 54 games in his career, with 18 coming in his first 16 games of the 2025-26 campaign.
WYTTER WYTTER
- The first-year forward has exploded on to the nation's radar, recording 22 points in 16 games to begin his collegiate career. That marks the highest total of any first-year skater, three ahead of Vaclav Nestrasil and Porter Martone, who each have 19.
- He is currently on an eight-game point streak, which is the longest active streak in the country and three off the longest stretch by any skater this season.
- He has a point in 15 games this season, which is the most of any player in the country, one ahead of Michigan's Will Horcoff and Michigan Tech's Stiven Sardarian.
VENI VIDI VICI
- First-year forward Markus Vidicek is currently on the nation's longest goalscoring streak, potting one in each of the last five outings to match the longest overall stretch of the campaign as well.
- Two of the six have come on the power play, including a game-tying goal with the extra skater against Stonehill on Saturday afternoon en route to the 3-2 victory.
- His six goals are tied for the second-most by any skater since the streak started on Nov. 15.
BACKING THE BANK
- The Bobcats are off to another unbeaten start at M&T Bank Arena, going 6-0-2 on home ice in their first eight outings with wins over Maine, Boston University, Clarkson and St. Lawrence, Holy Cross and Stonehill.
- They have played the most home games this season (eight) without a loss.
- Since 2020-21, the Bobcats are second in scoring defense (1.8), third in scoring offense (4.1), first in wins (78) and third in losses (16) on home ice.
BEASTS VS. THE HOCKEY EAST
- Setting up another strong non-conference schedule, Quinnipiac is tough to beat again when taking on their regional non-conference rivals this season.
- After a dominant win over Boston University on Saturday, the Bobcats improved to 4-1-1 against the Hockey East this season and it was their third ranked win of the year. This comes after a season-opening win at Boston College and an undefeated weekend against then-No. 7 Maine in which the Bobcats tied the Black Bears, 4-4, before shutting them out 4-0 on Saturday night.
