Quinnipiac Drops NCAA Regional Final to Top-Seeded North Dakota

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team fell in the NCAA Regional final on Saturday night, dropping the matchup by a 5-0 scoreline at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
North Dakota came out fast, putting 11 shots on the Bobcat net in the first 8:14, resulting in the game's first two goals. The Fighting Hawks would lead 3-0 going into the first intermission.
The top seeds added a pair more in the second, extending the advantage and taking control of the contest.

- Elliott Groenewold was named to the NCAA Sioux Falls Region All-Tournament Team after recording the opening goal in Thursday night's win over Providence.
