HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program and head coach Rand Pecknold announced the remaining contests on its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday afternoon, with the team slating 12 non-conference and a pair of exhibition contests to round out its 22 league contests.
The season begins on Oct. 2 with a home weekend, as the Bobcats host New Hampshire (Oct. 2) and Merrimack (Oct. 3) to celebrate Bobcat Weekend at M&T Bank Arena.
Three of its four road non-conference contests will follow sequentially, as Quinnipiac continues its alternating home-and-home weekends with Maine. The Bobcats and Black Bears will face off on Oct. 9 and 10 at Alfond Arena.
Quinnipiac will make its first trip to Happy Valley, taking on Penn State on Oct. 16 to round out the road trip.
A pair of one-game weekends at M&T Bank Arena follow, with the Bobcats welcoming Army West Point to Hamden for a Friday night matchup on Oct. 23 before Providence comes to town for a Halloween contest on Oct. 31.
The Bobcats have not played Army since the 2004-05 campaign when they were Atlantic Hockey and MAAC rivals. It will be the first regular season meeting between Quinnipiac and Providence since November 2013, with the teams matching up in the 2026 NCAA Tournament, a 5-2 Quinnipiac victory.
After a pair of league weekends, another highly touted Hockey East rival awaits as Quinnipiac heads to Boston University for a Wednesday night affair before bringing Holy Cross to M&T Bank Arena on Nov. 21.
The fall schedule wraps up with a Saturday game with Stonehill on Dec. 12.
Quinnipiac comes out of the new year with a pair of exhibitions, as they welcome Maryville and Guelph for Jan. 2 and 3 contests before jumping back into league action.
The 2026-27 edition of CT Ice will be held at the end of January, with games being played on Jan. 29 and 30.
