Last Time Out
Quinnipiac continued ECAC play last weekend against Dartmouth and Harvard. The Bobcats finished the weekend 0-1-1, after tying Dartmouth and losing in overtime to Harvard.
First-year Alexa Hoskin scored the Bobcats' only goal in the 1-1 tie against Dartmouth. Sophomore Zoe Boyd and senior Kati Tabin recorded helpers on the goal. Quinnipiac struck first on the power play, and Dartmouth tied it up in the second period. The teams would play approximately 40 minutes of scoreless hockey, including overtime, before ending in a 1-1 tie.
On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Bobcats hosted the undefeated Harvard Crimson. The Crimson scored first in the opening period, but Quinnipiac tied it up in the second with a power play goal from senior Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout. Harvard would take a 2-1 lead 38 seconds later. As time was ticking down in the third period, Tabin scored to even the game with 18 seconds left in regulation. The Crimson would go on to score a game-winning goal in overtime to secure the win.
Scouting RPI
The Engineers have yet to win this season, recording a 0-10-1 overall record and 0-4-0 ECAC record. In non-conference play, the Engineers dropped games to Minnesota State, Merrimack and Penn State. In ECAC play, RPI lost to St. Lawrence, Clarkson, Brown and Yale; the Engineers were outscored 12-6 through four conference games. Blake Orosz leads the Engineers with four points on three goals and one assist. In the net, Ena Nystrom has played in seven games, allowing 19 goals and recording a .936 save percentage and 2.17 goals against average.
All-Time Against the Engineers
Quinnipiac has an all-time record of 19-13-2 against RPI. The last matchup came on Feb. 15, 2019, as the Bobcats shutout the Engineers, 4-0, at home. Since Nov. 14, 2014, the Bobcats have gone 10-1-1 against RPI.
Scouting Union
The Dutchwomen will host the Bobcats coming off 1-1-0 weekend against Brown and Yale. Union defeated the Brown Bear, 4-1 on the road, and lost to Yale, 5-0. The Dutchwomen are 1-8-1 overall and 1-2-0 in ECAC play. Katelynn Russ leads the team with three goals and one assist for four points this season. The Dutchwomen have been outscored by opponents 38-9 through the start of the 2019-20 season. In the net, Bella McKee has played in nine games, recording a .929 save percentage and 2.82 goals against average.

The Bobcats have never lost to Union, holding a 31-0-4 record. Quinnipiac is on a 13-game winning streak against Union. Last season, the Bobcats outscored the Dutchwomen, 8-1, through two games.
Immediate Impact
The Quinnipiac first-year class has quickly and positively impacted the team on the ice to start the 2019-20 season. First-year Kate Reilly is ranked fourth on the team in points with one goal and five assists for six points. Her six points is ranked eighth in the conference play for defensemen scoring. On the power play, Reilly has scored one goal and three assists, which is ranked sixth in the ECAC. Sadie Peart has tallied three goals and one assist for four points on the season, including a game-winner and two power play goals. In six of the last seven games, at least one first-year has scored a goal or assisted on a goal.
Defensive Core
Quinnipiac's defensive core has allowed 19 goals this season, earning a 1.73 goals against average. Junior Olivia Konigson and senior Kenzie Prater lead the team with 15 blocks each, followed by Reilly with 14.. Reilly, Prater and senior Kati Tabin are each ranked in the top ten in defenseman scoring in the ECAC. Quinnipiac and Clarkson are the only two teams to have three defensemen ranked in the top 10 in defensemen scoring.

Tabin has tallied two goals and five assists for seven points this year. Prater is third on the team in scoring with six points on one goal and five assists.

The captains for the Bobcats have been named ahead of the 2019-20 season. Wearing the "C" will be seniors Kenzie Prater and Kati Tabin. The alternate captains will be senior Abbie Ives and junior Olivia Konigson.
Schedule Breakdown
The Bobcats have 34 games slated for the 2019-20 season. Quinnipiac will face six non-conference teams including Providence, Maine, Sacred Heart, Minnesota Duluth, Merrimack and Ohio State. Tabin's Summer
Senior defenseman Kati Tabin was named to the BFL National Women's Development Team for Team Canada's Summer Showcase. The camp took place in Calgary at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport's Canada Olympic Park from Aug. 2-11. Eighty-nine of the Canada's top under-18 and development team talents were selected. Tabin was also invited back to camp for Hockey Canada's National Women's Team Fall Festival for the second year in a row. The camp took place in Liverpool, N.S., from Sept. 9-15, after the Summer Showcase.
