
Frank Records Career-High Saves in Tough Loss to No. 2 Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. – The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team dropped a hard-fought contest to No. 2 Wisconsin in the NCAA Regional Final on Saturday afternoon.
Adéla Šapovalivová got the Badgers' offense started early, scoring their first goal just 2:33 into the game.
Kirsten Simms, Lacey Eden, and Kelly Gorbatenko also found the back of the net for Wisconsin.
Gorbatenko recorded her second hat trick of the season, while Simms scored on the power play and Eden added an empty-net goal.
Felicia Frank delivered an outstanding performance over the weekend, making 74 saves while allowing just five goals across the two NCAA tournament games.
In her first NCAA tournament appearance, Frank posted a .932 save percentage.
The Bobcats ended the season with a 29-9-3 record, their best since 2022-23. The historic run was highlighted by the program's second ECAC Championship and its fifth NCAA Tournament appearance.
