Defending ECAC Champions Reveal Full 2026-27 Schedule

Non-Conference Matchups with Northeastern, Minnesota Duluth Highlight Slate
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey program and head coach Cassandra Turner announced the release of the 2026-27 schedule, as the ECAC Hockey office unveiled the conference slate Thursday morning.
The non-conference schedule features 12 games, evenly split between M&T Bank Arena and road contests. Prior to opening the regular season, Quinnipiac will travel to UConn for an exhibition matchup on Sept. 19.
Quinnipiac will kick off its season with a two-game series at Maine on Sept. 25-26. The Bobcats claimed last season's series and are 8-1-1 in the last 10 meetings with the Black Bears. They then return to Hamden for a home-and-home series against Providence College on Oct. 2-3. Quinnipiac swept the season series a year ago, outscoring the Friars 10-2.
The Bobcats welcome in-state opponent Post to M&T Bank Arena on Oct. 6 for a midweek contest. The teams first met in November 2023, with Quinnipiac earning a 12-1 victory. Quinnipiac remains at home the next week, hosting Northeastern on Oct. 16-17 and seeking its second consecutive sweep of the Huskies, who advanced to the 2026 Frozen Four.
In mid-November, the Bobcats travel to Sacred Heart for a morning matchup on Nov. 10. Quinnipiac owns a perfect 19-0-0 record against the Pioneers and most recently defeated Sacred Heart in the consolation game of last season's Nutmeg Classic.
The month concludes with the Nutmeg Classic at M&T Bank Arena. Quinnipiac hosts Yale in the opening round on Nov. 27 and will face either UConn or Sacred Heart the following day. The Bobcats have captured four of the last six Nutmeg Classic titles.
Quinnipiac heads to Duluth, Minnesota after the holiday break for its final two non-conference games, taking on Minnesota Duluth on Jan. 2-3. The Bobcats won their most recent meeting with the Bulldogs during the 2026 Friendship Series in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The league will continue to play its 22 game schedule, with each team facing each school twice during the year. Quinnipiac opens conference play in the Capital District, visiting Union on Oct. 23 and RPI on Oct. 24.
The home conference slate begins the following weekend against Yale on Oct. 30 and Brown on Oct. 31. Cornell and Colgate visit Hamden on Nov. 6-7 to complete a four-game homestand.
Four straight conference road games await, beginning with the annual North Country trip to St. Lawrence on Nov. 20 and Clarkson on Nov. 21. Quinnipiac closes the first half of the regular season at Dartmouth on Dec. 4 and Harvard on Dec. 5.
The Bobcats welcome RPI and Union to M&T Bank Arena on Jan. 8-9 to resume league action. Quinnipiac then plays its home-and-home series with Princeton, hosting the Tigers on Jan. 14 before traveling to Hobey Baker Rink on Jan. 16.
Harvard and Dartmouth come to Hamden on Jan. 22-23 before the Bobcats embark on another four-game road trip. Quinnipiac wraps up January at Brown on Jan. 29 and Yale on Jan. 30 and opens February at Colgate and Cornell on Feb. 5-6.
The regular season concludes at M&T Bank Arena, where Quinnipiac hosts Clarkson on Feb. 12 and St. Lawrence on Feb. 13.
Quinnipiac is coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history. The Bobcats captured the program's second ECAC Hockey Championship at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time.
The team finished 29-9-3 overall and 14-6-2 in conference play, marking its fifth straight season with 22+ wins. Quinnipiac returns 17 players from last year's roster, welcoming eight newcomers.
Among the returning standouts is senior assistant captain Kahlen Lamarche, who led the nation in goals and earned All-ECAC First Team honors, ACHA Second Team All-American, and a spot among the Top 10 finalists for the Patty Kazmaier Award. Lamarche also set Quinnipiac's Division I single-season records with 42 goals and 64 points.
Also returning is ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Year Felicia Frank, who was named the ECAC Championship Most Outstanding Player, earned All-ECAC First Team honors and finished as a top-three finalist for National Goaltender of the Year after leading the nation with 29 wins.
Junior captain Makayla Watson returns after earning All-ECAC honors in each of her first two seasons, landing on the All-ECAC Rookie Team in 2024-25 before being named to the All-ECAC Second Team in 2025-26. The defender recorded a season-high 26 points, a 10-point increase from her rookie campaign.
