DETROIT, Mich. — Two Bobcats heard their names called during the 2026 PWHL Draft on Wednesday evening, led by Emerson Jarvis, who became Quinnipiac's first selection of the night.
Jarvis was selected by the Seattle Torrent with the 26th overall pick, joining Quinnipiac alumnae Lexie Adzija '23 and General Manager Meghan Turner '17 on the West Coast.
The assistant captain enjoyed a career-best season in 2025-26, finishing second on the team with 17 goals and 38 points while posting a +27 rating. Jarvis added three power-play goals, four game-winning goals, and recorded the first hat trick of her collegiate career. A dominant presence in the faceoff circle, she ranked 10th nationally with 421 faceoff wins.
In the ECAC Hockey Championship game against Yale, Jarvis scored the final goal to secure Quinnipiac's second conference title in program history. After transferring to Hamden for her final three seasons, she concluded her collegiate career with 65 points on 32 goals and 33 assists.
Ten picks later, assistant captain Zoe Uens was selected by the reigning Walter Cup champion Montreal Victoire with the final pick of the third round.
Uens joins fellow Quinnipiac alumnae and Canadians Maya Labad '25 and Kati Tabin '20 in Montreal. She recorded a career-high 19 points during her senior season, totaling 10 goals and nine assists. Uens finished third on the team in goals and second on the team with 55 blocked shots. A key contributor to Quinnipiac's 2026 ECAC Hockey Championship run, Uens earned All-Tournament Team honors after scoring a power-play goal and blocking six shots during the tournament.
Uens established herself as one of the program's most reliable defensive players, ranking among the team's top four in blocked shots in each of her four seasons. After recording 31 blocks as a rookie, she increased that total to 48 as a sophomore and 65 as a junior before capping her career with 55 during her senior campaign. Uens closed out her collegiate career recording 199 blocked shots while totaling 43 points on 14 goals and 29 assists.
