The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team, winnings of three of their last four games and four of their last six, host Union and Rensselar this weekend at the Frank J. Perrotti, Jr. Arena. The Bobcats and Dutchmen face-off on Friday, Feb. 16 while RPI and Quinnipiac meet on Saturday, Feb. 17. Both games are set for a 7 p.m. start and can be seen live on ESPN3.

Prior to the start of the Bobcats' game against RPI on Saturday, Feb. 17, Quinnipiac Men's Ice Hockey will honor Kevin Duane, Landon Smith, Tanner MacMaster, Bo Pieper, and Kevin McKernan as part of Senior Night.

ALL-TIME AGAINST UNION
• Quinnipiac and Union have met 37 times with the Bobcats owning an 18-15-4 record in the all-time series.
• Quinnipiac lost its matchup in Schenectady earlier this season, 4-1, and have lost three straight to the Dutchmen. The Bobcats last win against Union came on Jan. 7, 2016 in Hamden, Conn.
• The Bobcats are 10-6-2 in 18 games on its home ice against Union, including a 6-2-2 mark in its last 10 games at TD Bank Sports Center against the Dutchmen.
SCOUTING THE DUTCHMEN

ALL-TIME AGAINST RENSSELAER
• Quinnipiac and RPI have met 29 times with the Bobcats posting a 14-6-9 record in the all-time series.
• RPI took the meeting between the two teams earlier this year, 5-3 on Nov. 10 in Troy. The loss snapped a 14-game unbeaten streak against the Engineers in which the Bobcats were 9-0-5.
• Quinnipiac is 6-1-6 all-time on its home ice with its lone loss to the Engineers in Hamden coming on Jan. 8, 2010.
SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• RPI enters the weekend with an overall record of 5-21-4 including a 4-12-2 record in ECAC Hockey play.
• RPI enters the weekend with a loss in six of their last seven games.
• Jacob Hayhurst and Viktor Liljegren lead RPI with nine goals apiece, while Hayhurst has also picked up 10 assists for a team-high 19 points to date.
• Mike Prapvessis leads RPI in assists with 15.
• In goal, Linden Marshall is 4-14-2 with a .906 save percentage and a 3.14 goals-against average.
THE ECAC HOCKEY PLAYOFF PICTURE
• Quinnipiac currently sits in ninth place with 16 points courtesy of a 7-9-2 record in ECAC Hockey play. The Bobcats can finish anywhere from 4th to 11th, depending on their results over the final two weekends of the regular season with eight points still in play.
GAME NOTES
TUF ENUF
• Freshman Odeen Tufto currently leads Quinnipiac in assists (25) and points (32).
• Tufto currently leads all NCAA Division I freshmen in assists and also ranks second in points.
•To date, he is one of seven players in ECAC Hockey with 30 points.
• Tufto's 12 multiple-point games are the most in ECAC Hockey and the most among NCAA Division I freshmen.
• Since the start of the second half, Tufto has piled up five goals and nine assists for 13 points in Quinnipiac's last 11 games.
• On Jan. 12-13, Tufto totaled a goal and four assists for five points with back-to-back multiple-point efforts earning ECAC Hockey Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors.
• In the process, Tufto was the only player in the country, this weekend, to factor into every goal scored by Quinnipiac in two games.
• Tufto's five points led all ECAC Hockey skaters (freshmen and upperclassmen) while ranking as the fourth most for the weekend in the country.
• He was one of 10 players in the country to post two multiple-point games and one of 34 with a three-point game.
• His impressive freshman campaign has featured a five-game scoring streak through the first five games of the season.
• Tufto's scoring streak was the longest for a freshman to start his collegiate career since Chase Priskie tallied a point in six-straight games in 2014.
• The first-year Bobcats has tallied a point in 20 of Quinnipiac's 29 games, in which the Bobcats have compiled a 9-9-2 record.
Mac ATTACK
• Senior Tanner MacMaster posted his third-consecutive two-point night with a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win against Clarkson on Friday, Feb. 2.
• MacMaster also had an assist on Feb. 3 in a 5-2 win against St.Lawrence to give him a five-game point streak in which he has tallied two goals and six assists for eight points.
• MacMaster is riding a career year in which he has scored 12 goals and assisted on 14 more for 26 points in 28 games played.
• The start of the second half of the season has been friendly to MacMaster who has scored four goals and assisted on seven more for 11 points in Quinnipiac's last 10 games through Friday night's win against Clarkson.
• MacMaster is coming off a junior season in which he scored a career-high eight goals, while also picking up 11 assists for 19 points in 32 games.
• For his career, MacMaster has accumulated 29 goals and 48 assists for 77 points.
THE CHASE IS ON
• Junior Captain Chase Priskie checks-in with seven goals and 14 assists for 21 points this season.
• Priskie also leads the team in power play goals (5) and power play points (12) for the year.
• Priskie is one of 36 defensemen in the country to score six goals to date and also ranks third in power-play goals (5) by blue liners.
• Priskie also ranks third among all ECAC Hockey defensemen in total points.
SHOW ME THE WHELAN
• Sophomore Alex Whelan currently leads Quinnipiac with 13 goals to date, while he's also assisted on three more for 16 points.
• The second-year Bobcats has scored seven goals and assisted on two more in Quinnipiac's last 10 games since the start of the second half.
• Whelan's 13 goals rank tied for seventh in ECAC Hockey.
BO KNOWS
• With a two-goal night against St. Lawrence on Saturday, Feb. 3, Bo Pieper now has seven goals in his last nine games.
• For the year, Peiper has tallied 10 goals and six assists for 16 points.
• Bo Pieper's goal at Princeton was his second of the season and first since Oct. 8 against Boston University.
• Pieper also picked up an assist on Whelan's goal for his first multiple-point game since Game 3 of last year's ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal-clinching win at St. Lawrence on Mar. 12, 2017.
• Pieper is currently the Bobcats' face-off leader, winning 58.6% (304-215) of his draws this season.
• The senior wing had a break-out year in 2016-17 after leading the team with 13 goals, while adding 12 assists for 25 points.
• Pieper's 23 goals in the last two seasons are the most in the Bobcats' lineup in that span.
PILING UP THE HARDWARE
• Andrew Shortridge had an incredible weekend in which he garnered NCAA Men's Ice Hockey First Star of the Week and ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week honors.
• Shortridge posted a shutout in in the Bobcats' 5-0 victory against Brown on Friday, Nov. 17. The second-year Bobcat followed with another shutout in Quinnipiac's 3-0 win over rival Yale on Saturday, Nov. 18.
• Shortridge was the first goalie in the nation to post back-to-back shutouts in a weekend series this season.
• Shortridge was also the first Quinnipiac goalie to record back-to-back shutouts since Michael Garteig against Yale on Dec. 4, 2015 and Brown on Dec. 5, 2015.
• With a 21-save shutout against UConn, Shortridge recorded his fourth shutout of the season and also became the seventh goalie in program history to record five shutouts for his career.
• Shortridge's fifth shutout of the season came with a 22-save outing at Brown on Feb. 10.
IN THE BOOKS
• Landon Smith had a career-high four points (three goals, one assist) in the Bobcats' 5-0 win against Brown on Friday, Nov. 17, while his three goals gave him his third hat trick of his career.
• Smith's four goals in eight ECAC Hockey games leads Quinnipiac.
• Smith's hat trick was the 31st in Quinnipiac NCAA Division I era.
• Smith's feat made him one of two players, along with Brandon Wong, to record a hat trick against the same team twice in his career; Smith's hat trick was his second against Brown after he recorded one against the Bears on Jan. 30, 2015; Wong had three against Union in his career.
• Wong is the Quinnipiac Division I leader with four career hat tricks while Smith's three-goal night tied Ben Nelson for second with three hat tricks.
• Landon Smith became the 39th player all-time and the 24th in Quinnipiac's Division I era to reach 100 career points with a two-point weekend against Northeastern.
• Smith is one of 14 active players in NCAA Division I hockey with 100 career points while his 109 career points rank eighth, his 43 career goals rank tied for 15th and his 66 career assists rank tied for ninth.
LOOSE PUCKS
• Four of Brandon Fortunato's six points this season have come in his last four games as he's scored three times and also added an assist.
• Fortunato had a goal and an assist against Yale before following with a breakaway goal at Brown for a tally in back-to-back games.
• Freshman Joe O'Connor scored his first career goal in teh Bobcats' 3-0 win at Brown on Feb. 10. In doing so, he became the first player from Hamden, Conn. to score a goal for Quinnipiac at the Division I level, and the first since former captain Justin Nolan did it in 1996-97.

The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team, winnings of three of their last four games and four of their last six, host Union and Rensselar this weekend at the Frank J. Perrotti, Jr. Arena. The Bobcats and Dutchmen face-off on Friday, Feb. 16 while RPI and Quinnipiac meet on Saturday, Feb. 17. Both games are set for a 7 p.m. start and can be seen live on ESPN3.

• Quinnipiac and Union have met 37 times with the Bobcats owning an 18-15-4 record in the all-time series.

TUF ENUF
• Freshman Odeen Tufto currently leads Quinnipiac in assists (25) and points (32).
• Tufto currently leads all NCAA Division I freshmen in assists and also ranks second in points.
•To date, he is one of seven players in ECAC Hockey with 30 points.
• Tufto's 12 multiple-point games are the most in ECAC Hockey and the most among NCAA Division I freshmen.
• Since the start of the second half, Tufto has piled up five goals and nine assists for 13 points in Quinnipiac's last 11 games.
• On Jan. 12-13, Tufto totaled a goal and four assists for five points with back-to-back multiple-point efforts earning ECAC Hockey Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors.
• In the process, Tufto was the only player in the country, this weekend, to factor into every goal scored by Quinnipiac in two games.
• Tufto's five points led all ECAC Hockey skaters (freshmen and upperclassmen) while ranking as the fourth most for the weekend in the country.
• He was one of 10 players in the country to post two multiple-point games and one of 34 with a three-point game.
• His impressive freshman campaign has featured a five-game scoring streak through the first five games of the season.
• Tufto's scoring streak was the longest for a freshman to start his collegiate career since Chase Priskie tallied a point in six-straight games in 2014.
• The first-year Bobcats has tallied a point in 20 of Quinnipiac's 29 games, in which the Bobcats have compiled a 9-9-2 record.
Mac ATTACK
• Senior Tanner MacMaster posted his third-consecutive two-point night with a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win against Clarkson on Friday, Feb. 2.
• MacMaster also had an assist on Feb. 3 in a 5-2 win against St.Lawrence to give him a five-game point streak in which he has tallied two goals and six assists for eight points.
• MacMaster is riding a career year in which he has scored 12 goals and assisted on 14 more for 26 points in 28 games played.
• The start of the second half of the season has been friendly to MacMaster who has scored four goals and assisted on seven more for 11 points in Quinnipiac's last 10 games through Friday night's win against Clarkson.
• MacMaster is coming off a junior season in which he scored a career-high eight goals, while also picking up 11 assists for 19 points in 32 games.
• For his career, MacMaster has accumulated 29 goals and 48 assists for 77 points.
THE CHASE IS ON
• Junior Captain Chase Priskie checks-in with seven goals and 14 assists for 21 points this season.
• Priskie also leads the team in power play goals (5) and power play points (12) for the year.
• Priskie is one of 36 defensemen in the country to score six goals to date and also ranks third in power-play goals (5) by blue liners.
• Priskie also ranks third among all ECAC Hockey defensemen in total points.

• Sophomore Alex Whelan currently leads Quinnipiac with 13 goals to date, while he's also assisted on three more for 16 points.

BO KNOWS
• With a two-goal night against St. Lawrence on Saturday, Feb. 3, Bo Pieper now has seven goals in his last nine games.

• Bo Pieper's goal at Princeton was his second of the season and first since Oct. 8 against Boston University.

PILING UP THE HARDWARE
• Andrew Shortridge had an incredible weekend in which he garnered NCAA Men's Ice Hockey First Star of the Week and ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week honors.
• Shortridge posted a shutout in in the Bobcats' 5-0 victory against Brown on Friday, Nov. 17. The second-year Bobcat followed with another shutout in Quinnipiac's 3-0 win over rival Yale on Saturday, Nov. 18.
• Shortridge was the first goalie in the nation to post back-to-back shutouts in a weekend series this season.
• Shortridge was also the first Quinnipiac goalie to record back-to-back shutouts since Michael Garteig against Yale on Dec. 4, 2015 and Brown on Dec. 5, 2015.
• With a 21-save shutout against UConn, Shortridge recorded his fourth shutout of the season and also became the seventh goalie in program history to record five shutouts for his career.
• Shortridge's fifth shutout of the season came with a 22-save outing at Brown on Feb. 10.
IN THE BOOKS
• Landon Smith had a career-high four points (three goals, one assist) in the Bobcats' 5-0 win against Brown on Friday, Nov. 17, while his three goals gave him his third hat trick of his career.
• Smith's four goals in eight ECAC Hockey games leads Quinnipiac.
• Smith's hat trick was the 31st in Quinnipiac NCAA Division I era.
• Smith's feat made him one of two players, along with Brandon Wong, to record a hat trick against the same team twice in his career; Smith's hat trick was his second against Brown after he recorded one against the Bears on Jan. 30, 2015; Wong had three against Union in his career.
• Wong is the Quinnipiac Division I leader with four career hat tricks while Smith's three-goal night tied Ben Nelson for second with three hat tricks.
• Landon Smith became the 39th player all-time and the 24th in Quinnipiac's Division I era to reach 100 career points with a two-point weekend against Northeastern.
• Smith is one of 14 active players in NCAA Division I hockey with 100 career points while his 109 career points rank eighth, his 43 career goals rank tied for 15th and his 66 career assists rank tied for ninth.

• Four of Brandon Fortunato's six points this season have come in his last four games as he's scored three times and also added an assist.
• Fortunato had a goal and an assist against Yale before following with a breakaway goal at Brown for a tally in back-to-back games.
• Freshman Joe O'Connor scored his first career goal in teh Bobcats' 3-0 win at Brown on Feb. 10. In doing so, he became the first player from Hamden, Conn. to score a goal for Quinnipiac at the Division I level, and the first since former captain Justin Nolan did it in 1996-97.
