As a Junior in 2014-15:
- Appeared in and started 36 games for the Bobcats while finishing the season with stellar numbers that included a 22-10-3 record (.671 win percentage), 2.03 GAA and .917 save percentage with five shutouts
- Was voted All-ECAC Hockey for the first time in his career with a Third Team selection
- Garteig joined Eric Hartzell (2012-13) as just the second Quinnipiac goalkeeper to earn All-ECAC Hockey honors
- Broke Quinnipiac’s career shutout record on Feb. 6 at Cornell as his 20-save effort was good enough for the 11th shutout of his career, passing Eric Hartzell for first place on the all-time list
- Selected to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team
- Named a 2014-15 Mike Richter Award candidate
- Finished the season tied for 22nd in the nation among goalies in wins, 10th in winning percentage, tied for sixth in shutouts, 14th in GAA, 9th in total minutes played (2153:09) and 16th in time percentage (89.2)
- In 22 ECAC Hockey games, he led all league goalies in wins (16), winning percentage (.795), goals against average (1.62) and was third in save percentage (.932)
- Of the four goalies in the league to start all 22 league games, Garteig allowed the fewest goals (35) while logging a league-high 1,333:14 minutes
- He also tied for the league lead with five shutouts in 22 league games
- Garteig posted a 13-game unbeaten streak (10-0-3) that ended on the final game of the regular season at Dartmouth
- Three-time ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week and the Goalie of the Month for December, he was one of three ECAC Hockey goalies to win 20 games while leading all league goalies with 22 total wins
- Reeled off the second-longest scoreless streak in program history as he held opponents scoreless over 151:19 (across four games) from Dec. 6 through Jan. 2
- Opened the season with a 14-save victory over Bentley on Oct. 11
- Started a six-game winning streak with a 20-save effort, allowing just two goals, in a 3-2 win over Northeastern on Nov. 1
- Stopped 23-of-26 shots on the way to a 4-3 win over Northeastern on Nov. 2
- Stopped all 19 Colgate shots in a 5-0 win to post his first shutout of the season on Nov. 7
- Continued to shut the door as he posted 18 saves on the way to another shutout, 1-0, in the following game on Nov. 8 against Cornell
- Picked up 28 shots while allowing three goals in a 4-3 win on the road at Union on Nov. 14
- Tallied 21 saves while letting just one goal through in a 3-1 road win at Rensselaer on Nov. 15
- Denied 26 shots from St. Lawrence as he picked up the 3-2 victory on the road on Nov. 22

- Made 12 saves in a 4-2 win over Rensselaer and came back the next night with 20 saves in a 4-3 win over Union on Jan. 10
- Denied 29-of-31 shots from Yale in helping Quinnipiac earn a 2-2 tie on the road on Jan. 31
- Posted a 20-save overtime shutout road victory over Cornell on Feb. 6
- Was stellar the next night making 31 saves in picking up the win over Colgate on the road
- Stopped 23-of-24 St. Lawrence shots on the way to earning the 2-1 victory on Feb. 13
- Made 21 saves and allowed just one goal in a 4-1 win over Clarkson on Feb. 14
- Played well against Yale, making 23 saves with two goals allowed, in a 2-2 tie on Feb. 20

- Made 24 saves with just two goals allowed on Feb. 27 in a 5-2 win at Harvard
- Took the loss despite making 29 saves on Feb. 28 at Dartmouth
- Played stellar in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals against Union as he totaled 93 saves (31 per game) over the three-game series to go along with a 1.92 GAA and .930 save percentage
- Started with 31 saves in 105:09 minutes of action as he helped lead Quinnipiac to the 4-3 triple overtime Game One victory over Union on March 13
- Posted 25 saves in the Game Two 3-2 loss to Union on March 14
- Came back and dominated Union making a career-high 37 saves while allowing just one goal in a clutch Game Three and series-clinching 3-1 victory over Union on March 15
- Made 23 saves in the ECAC Hockey Semifinal loss to Harvard
- Stopped 21-of-24 North Dakota shots in the NCAA West Regional on March 27.
As a Sophomore in 2013-14:
- Selected to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team
- Was an absolute workhorse for the Bobcats, starting all 40 games in 2013-14 and finishing the season with a 24-10-6 record, 1.94 GAA, 790 saves, .910 save percentage and six shutouts
- Took the starting reigns from the Bobcats’ graduated 2012-13 All-American and Hobey Baker Memorial Award Finalist - Eric Hartzell - and quickly made a name for himself as one of the best goaltenders in the country
- His stellar play earned him five ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week honors, which is the most for a Quinnipiac player in a single-season since joining the ECAC Hockey for the 2005-06 season
- Garteig also grabbed ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month awards for October and November
- His six shutouts last season broke the Quinnipiac all-time single-season shutout record which had previously stood at five (Hartzell, 2012-13)
- His 1.94 GAA ranked third in the country among all Div. I goaltenders while his winning percentage (.675) ranked ninth and his six shutouts tied for second in the nation
- Garteig also finished second in the country in terms of minutes played (2409:29) and first in games played (40)
- Started the year off strong allowing just two goals in two victories over UMass-Lowell on Oct. 18 (21 saves) and Oct. 19 (23 saves)
- Tallied back-to-back shutouts at Cornell (23 saves) and against Brown (20 saves)
- Helped lift the Bobcats to a 13-game unbeaten streak (12-0-1) from Oct. 13 through Nov. 22
- Posted a strong game in a 3-2 win over Harvard making 31 saves on 33 shots in net on Nov. 15
- Allowed just one goal on 20 shots against Dartmouth on Nov. 16
- Posted a 19-save shutout of Princeton on the road on Nov. 22
- Picked up a 12-save shutout of Sacred Heart in the UConn Hockey Classic Championship Game on Dec. 30
- Stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 2-1 victory over Maine on Jan. 3
- Tallied 27 saves at home in a 2-1 win over Union on Jan. 10
- Totaled 22 saves against Merrimack in a 6-1 victory at home on Jan. 17
- Allowed just one goal on 11 shots on the road in an 8-1 victory over Dartmouth
- Had perhaps his best single-game of the season on the road against Yale on Feb. 14 as he tied his career-high with 33 saves in a 3-0 shutout victory
- Posted 21 saves on 23 shots against Colgate on Feb. 22
- Posted his record-breaking sixth shutout of the season with 24 saves at St. Lawrence on Feb. 28
- Denied 20-of-21 shots from Clarkson in a 1-1 tie on Mar. 1
- Tallied 40 saves on 45 shots in helping Quinnipiac earn an ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal sweep of Yale from Mar. 14-15
- Tied his career-high with 33 saves while playing all 80:46 of a double overtime loss to Colgate, 3-2, in the ECAC Hockey Semifinals
- Tallied 22 saves in his first NCAA Tournament appearance on Mar. 28 against Providence.
As a Freshman in 2012-13:

- Saw action in five games and made one start between the pipes

- Played for the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL)

- Led Pentincton to a North American record 42 consecutive wins
- Also played for the Powell River Kings in 2009-10 and 2010-11
- Recipient of the 2011 and 2012 BCHL Goaltending Award, given to the goalie who finishes the regular season with the lowest goals-against-average of all netminders who played a minimum of 1,000 minutes
- 2011 and 2012 BCHL First Team All-Star
- In 2011-12, he was 41-4-0 with a 1.93 GAA and a .927 save percentage with five shut-outs
- In 2010-11, he was 36-8-3 with a 1.69 GAA and a .934 save percentage with seven shutouts
- Led Powell River to the Coastal Conference Championships in 2009-10 and 2010-11.
