• Quinnipiac and Princeton have faced each other 26 times with the Bobcats holding a 14-11-1 record in the all-time series.
• In 13 games all-time at Princeton's Hobey Baker Memorial Rink, Quinnipiac holds an 8-4-1 record.
• Last season, Quinnipiac lost both games of its two-game season series against Princeton, including a 5-3 decision at Hobey Baker Rink. The loss snapped a six-game unbeaten streak (5-0-1) for the Bobcats at Princeton.
PILING UP THE HARDWARE
• Andrew Shortridge had an incredible weekend in which he garnered NCAA Men's Ice Hockey First Star of the Week and ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week honors.
• Shortridge posted a shutout in in the Bobcats' 5-0 victory against Brown on Friday, Nov. 17. The second-year Bobcat followed with another shutout in Quinnipiac's 3-0 win over rival Yale on Saturday, Nov. 18.
• Shortridge is the first goalie in the nation to post back-to-back shutouts in a weekend series this season.
• Shortridge was also the first Quinnipiac goalie to record back-to-back shutouts since Michael Garteig against Yale on Dec. 4, 2015 and Brown on Dec. 5, 2015.
• Entering Tuesday night's tilt against Princeton, Shortridge boasts a .925 save percentage and a 1.87 goals-against average this season.
IN THE BOOKS
• Landon Smith had a career-high four points (three goals, one assist) in the Bobcats' 5-0 win against Brown on Friday, Nov. 17, while his three points stood as his third hat trick of his career.
• Smith's hat trick was the 31st in Quinnipiac NCAA Division I era.
• Smith's feat made him one of two players, along with Brandon Wong, to record a hat trick against the same team twice in his career; Smith's hat trick was his second against Brown after he recorded one against the Bears on Jan. 30, 2015; Wong had three against Union in his career.
• Wong is the Quinnipiac Division I leader with four career hat tricks while Smith's three-goal night tied Ben Nelson for second with three hat tricks.
• Landon Smith (Greenwood Village, Colorado) became the 39th player all-time and the 24th in Quinnipiac's Division I era to reach 100 career points with a two-point weekend against Northeastern.
• Smith is one of six active players in NCAA Division I hockey with 100 career points while his 105 career points rank fifth, his 43 career goals rank seventh and his 62 career assists rank sixth.
• His 12 career game-winning goals lead all NCAA skaters while his 133 career games played is also the longest active streak in NCAA hockey.
THE CHASE IS ON
• Junior captain Chase Priskie had the hot hands as of late as he entered the weekend riding a four-game scoring streak in which he has totaled three goals and three assists for six points.
• Against Brown last weekend, Priskie scored his team-leading fifth goal -tying him with Landon Smith - while also picking up an assist. He followed with an assist on Saturday against Yale.
• Priskie is one of eight defensemen in the country to score five goals to date and also ranks fourth in power play goals (3) by blue liners.
Mac ATTACK
• Senior Tanner MacMaster checks in with three goals and seven assists for 10 points in 13 games this season.
•MacMaster had a goal and an assist in the Bobcats' 5-0 win against Brown on Friday, Nov. 17.
• Quinnipiac is 3-0-0 in games in which MacMaster has scored a goal this season and 4-2-0 when he has a point.
• MacMaster is coming off a junior season in which he scored a career-high eight goals, while also picking up 11 assists for 19 points in 32 games.
• For his career, MacMaster has accumulated 20 goals and 42 assists for 62 points.
FINDING HIS STRIDE
• John Furgele, who joined Quinnipiac last season and sat out as a transfer from New Hampshire, had a two-point night with a pair of assists against Brown.
• Furgele doubled his point total with his outing against the Bears, putting him at four assists for the season.
• Furgele also had a team-leading seven blocked shots on the weekend.
• Against UMass on Nov. 24, Furgele scored his first career goal at Quinnipiac in a 2-1 loss.
TUF ENUF
• Freshman Odeen Tufto currently leads Quinnipiac in assists (10) and points (13) and featured a five-game scoring streak through the first five games of the season.
• Tufto's scoring streak was the longest for a freshman to start his collegiate career since Chase Priskie tallied a point in six-straight games in 2014.
• Tufto ranks fourth among all NCAA Division I defensemen in points (13), sixth in assists (10)
• Tufto leads all NCAA Division I freshman with five multiple-point games to date.
• Against Vermont, Tufto scored twice, including the overtime game-winner in a 3-2 win at home. The last Quinnipiac freshman to score an overtime game-winning goal was Ben Nelson against Army on Jan. 28, 2005.
THE NIGHT OF FIRSTS
• At UMass on Saturday, Nov. 25, Landon Smith tipped a shot from Luke Shiplo for his first goal as a Bobcat.
• Later in the third period, Brandon Fortunato also found the back of the net for his first points at Quinnipiac.
HEAD COACH RAND PECKNOLD
• Rand Pecknold is currently in his 24th season as the Bobcats head coach in 2017-18.
• In 2015-16, Pecknold was honored with the Spencer Penrose National Coach of the Year Award, the College Hockey News National Coach of the Year as well as the ECAC Hockey Tim Taylor Coach of the Year Award.
• To date, Pecknold features a career record of 472-282-86 and currently ranks fifth among all active NCAA Division I coaches in career victories.
THE BOBCATS ARE AMONG THE ELITE IN NCAA HOCKEY
• Since they qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2012-13 through 2016-17, Quinnipiac ranks first among all NCAA Division I programs in the country with 132 wins.
• 2016 marked the Bobcats fourth-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, as well as their second appearance in the NCAA Frozen Four and National Championship Game in four seasons.
• In addition, the Bobcats captured their second-consecutive Cleary Cup, for the ECAC Hockey Regular-Season Championship, which was also their third in four seasons.
• Quinnipiac also won its first-ever Whitelaw Cup after winning the league's tournament championship.
• The Bobcats were also the first team since Michigan in 1997 to finish the year with just four losses for the season as Quinnipiac posted a 32-4-7 overall record as well as a 16-1-5 record in ECAC Hockey action.
TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
• Quinnipiac finished the 2016-17 season with a record of 23-14-3 overall and 13-8-1 in league action.
• Quinnipiac's ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals series win against St. Lawrence gave the Bobcats their fifth-consecutive appearance in the ECAC Hockey Championship Semifinals. The last team to accomplish that was Cornell from 2009 through 2012.
• 2016-17 signaled the 17th time in program history, and the 16th time in Rand Pecknold's 23-year career, that Quinnipiac reached the 20-win mark.
• Through 2016-17, Quinnipiac has now posted a non-losing season for the 20th-straight year.
• Quinnipiac's 12-5-1 record at the TD Bank Sports Center in 2016-17 was the eight consecutive season with 10-or-more wins on its home ice.
• The Bobcats' 13-8-1 record in ECAC Hockey games signals the fifth straight year with 12-or-more ECAC Hockey wins.
• In 2016-17, Quinnipiac scored 121 goals to give the program its sixth-consecutive season in which it has scored 100-or-more goals while also giving the Bobcats a scoring average of three or more goals in 11 of the last 13 seasons.
• Last year's senior class currently won 102 career games, good for second among all NCAA Division I programs behind North Dakota's 105.
• This marks the first time in program history that consecutive senior classes posted 100-win careers.

• Landon Smith (Greenwood Village, Colorado) became the 39th player all-time and the 24th in Quinnipiac's Division I era to reach 100 career points with a two-point weekend against Northeastern.
• Smith is one of six active players in NCAA Division I hockey with 100 career points while his 105 career points rank fifth, his 43 career goals rank seventh and his 62 career assists rank sixth.
• His 12 career game-winning goals lead all NCAA skaters while his 133 career games played is also the longest active streak in NCAA hockey.
THE CHASE IS ON
• Junior captain Chase Priskie had the hot hands as of late as he entered the weekend riding a four-game scoring streak in which he has totaled three goals and three assists for six points.
• Against Brown last weekend, Priskie scored his team-leading fifth goal -tying him with Landon Smith - while also picking up an assist. He followed with an assist on Saturday against Yale.
• Priskie is one of eight defensemen in the country to score five goals to date and also ranks fourth in power play goals (3) by blue liners.
Mac ATTACK
• Senior Tanner MacMaster checks in with three goals and seven assists for 10 points in 13 games this season.
•MacMaster had a goal and an assist in the Bobcats' 5-0 win against Brown on Friday, Nov. 17.
• Quinnipiac is 3-0-0 in games in which MacMaster has scored a goal this season and 4-2-0 when he has a point.
• MacMaster is coming off a junior season in which he scored a career-high eight goals, while also picking up 11 assists for 19 points in 32 games.
• For his career, MacMaster has accumulated 20 goals and 42 assists for 62 points.
FINDING HIS STRIDE
• John Furgele, who joined Quinnipiac last season and sat out as a transfer from New Hampshire, had a two-point night with a pair of assists against Brown.
• Furgele doubled his point total with his outing against the Bears, putting him at four assists for the season.
• Furgele also had a team-leading seven blocked shots on the weekend.
• Against UMass on Nov. 24, Furgele scored his first career goal at Quinnipiac in a 2-1 loss.
TUF ENUF
• Freshman Odeen Tufto currently leads Quinnipiac in assists (10) and points (13) and featured a five-game scoring streak through the first five games of the season.
• Tufto's scoring streak was the longest for a freshman to start his collegiate career since Chase Priskie tallied a point in six-straight games in 2014.
• Tufto ranks fourth among all NCAA Division I defensemen in points (13), sixth in assists (10)
• Tufto leads all NCAA Division I freshman with five multiple-point games to date.
• Against Vermont, Tufto scored twice, including the overtime game-winner in a 3-2 win at home. The last Quinnipiac freshman to score an overtime game-winning goal was Ben Nelson against Army on Jan. 28, 2005.
THE NIGHT OF FIRSTS
• At UMass on Saturday, Nov. 25, Landon Smith tipped a shot from Luke Shiplo for his first goal as a Bobcat.
• Later in the third period, Brandon Fortunato also found the back of the net for his first points at Quinnipiac.
HEAD COACH RAND PECKNOLD
• Rand Pecknold is currently in his 24th season as the Bobcats head coach in 2017-18.
• In 2015-16, Pecknold was honored with the Spencer Penrose National Coach of the Year Award, the College Hockey News National Coach of the Year as well as the ECAC Hockey Tim Taylor Coach of the Year Award.
• To date, Pecknold features a career record of 472-282-86 and currently ranks fifth among all active NCAA Division I coaches in career victories.
THE BOBCATS ARE AMONG THE ELITE IN NCAA HOCKEY
• Since they qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2012-13 through 2016-17, Quinnipiac ranks first among all NCAA Division I programs in the country with 132 wins.
• 2016 marked the Bobcats fourth-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, as well as their second appearance in the NCAA Frozen Four and National Championship Game in four seasons.
• In addition, the Bobcats captured their second-consecutive Cleary Cup, for the ECAC Hockey Regular-Season Championship, which was also their third in four seasons.
• Quinnipiac also won its first-ever Whitelaw Cup after winning the league's tournament championship.
• The Bobcats were also the first team since Michigan in 1997 to finish the year with just four losses for the season as Quinnipiac posted a 32-4-7 overall record as well as a 16-1-5 record in ECAC Hockey action.
TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
• Quinnipiac finished the 2016-17 season with a record of 23-14-3 overall and 13-8-1 in league action.
• Quinnipiac's ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals series win against St. Lawrence gave the Bobcats their fifth-consecutive appearance in the ECAC Hockey Championship Semifinals. The last team to accomplish that was Cornell from 2009 through 2012.
• 2016-17 signaled the 17th time in program history, and the 16th time in Rand Pecknold's 23-year career, that Quinnipiac reached the 20-win mark.
• Through 2016-17, Quinnipiac has now posted a non-losing season for the 20th-straight year.
• Quinnipiac's 12-5-1 record at the TD Bank Sports Center in 2016-17 was the eight consecutive season with 10-or-more wins on its home ice.
• The Bobcats' 13-8-1 record in ECAC Hockey games signals the fifth straight year with 12-or-more ECAC Hockey wins.
• In 2016-17, Quinnipiac scored 121 goals to give the program its sixth-consecutive season in which it has scored 100-or-more goals while also giving the Bobcats a scoring average of three or more goals in 11 of the last 13 seasons.
• Last year's senior class currently won 102 career games, good for second among all NCAA Division I programs behind North Dakota's 105.
• This marks the first time in program history that consecutive senior classes posted 100-win careers.
