After finishing the regular-season with a 6-4 conference record, the Quinnipiac men's soccer team secured the No. 5 seed in the MAAC Tournament and will travel to take on No. 4 seed Manhattan at Gaelic Park on Sunday at 2 PM.

This is the fifth-straight season where the program has clinched a berth in the MAAC Tournament, dating back to its first season in the MAAC.
In Quinnipiac's last MAAC Tournament appearance in 2016, it fell to Rider in the championship game, 3-1 at home.
Manhattan comes into the contest with a 9-7-1 record after tying Canisius, 1-1, at home in its last game.
Manhattan finished the regular season with a 6-3-1 record in MAAC play, which helped the Jaspers earn the No. 4 seed in the MAAC Tournament.
The Jaspers are led by Lucas Da Silva, who leads the team with eight goals.
The last time Quinnipiac took on Manhattan, the Bobcats defeated the Jaspers, 1-0, on the road.
The lone goal of the contest came in the 38th minute after Eamon Whelan (New Fairfield, Connecticut) put the game-winner in the back of the net after receiving the long-pass in the box from Matthew Taylor (Dublin, Ireland).
In Quinnipiac's last contest it defeated Saint Peter's at home, 4-1.
Rashawn Dally (Bloomfield, Connecticut) recorded a hat-trick in the win.
Dally's hat-trick is the first time a QU player has recorded three goals in a game since Philip Suprise did it against Lafayette on Sep. 2, 2012.
Max Rothenbucher (Munich, Germany) also tallied a goal and an assist in the win.
Chrysostomos Iakovidis (Thessaloniki, Greece) recorded four saves in the contest.
It was the 13th time this season where Iakovidis has held the opponent to one goal or less this season.
It was also the 16th-straight game where Iakovidis has held the opponent to two goals or less.
The win was the 37th of captain James Doig's (Liverpool, England) career, which is the most wins by a player in program-history.
On Saturday, Oct. 28, Quinnipiac fell to Monmouth on the road, 1-0.
The loss snapped Quinnipiac's three-game win streak.
Chrysostomos Iakovidis (Thessaloniki, Greece) recorded two saves in the contest.
It was the 12th time this season where Iakovidis has held the opponent to one goal or less this season.
It was also the 15th-straight game where Iakovidis has held the opponent to two goals or less.
Quinnipiac defeated Siena, 2-0, on the road on Wednesday, October 25.
The win was Quinnipiac's third in a row and fourth win in five games.
With the win, the Bobcats have clinched a berth in the MAAC Tournament.
It is the fifth-straight MAAC Tournament appearance for Quinnipiac, meaning the Bobcats have made the MAAC Tournament every season since joining the conference.
Rashawn Dally (Bloomfield, Connecticut) and Whelan each scored a goal in the contest.
Whelan's game-winning goal came in the 66th minute.
Matthew Taylor (Dublin, Ireland) brought the ball up and fed Paulo Soares (Quincy, Massachusetts). Soares sent a long-ball to Whelan in the box, who punched the ball over the goaltender.
The goal was Whelan's second of the season and second in three games.
Both of Whelan's goals this season have been game-winning goals.
Both Taylor and Soares were credited with assists. It was the third of the season for Taylor and first for Soares.
Quinnipiac's second goal of the contest came in the 77th minute off the foot of Dally.
Whelan shot on goal and the goaltender made the save, however the deflection fell to Dally, who tapped in the goal on the far post.
The goal was the second of the season for Dally and it was the second contest in a row where Dally has scored.
The assist was the first of the season for Whelan.
Chrysostomos Iakovidis (Thessaloniki, Greece) recorded one save en route to his fifth shutout of the season.
The shutout was the 12th of the sophomore's career.
It was the 11th time this season where Iakovidis has held the opponent to one goal or less this season.
It was also the 14th-straight game where Iakovidis has held the opponent to two goals or less.
The win was the 36th of captain James Doig's (Liverpool, England) career, which is the most wins by a player in program-history.
Quinnipiac men's soccer freshman defender Simon Hillinger (Ditzingen) was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday, October 23, 2017.
The Offensive Player of the Week honors are the first for Hillinger and he is the first Quinnipiac player to take home a MAAC weekly award this season.
