The nationally-ranked No.1/1 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team will host No. 17 Cornell on Friday, Feb. 5 and Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 6. The Bobcats' tilt against the Big Red on Friday can be seen live on SportsNet New York (SNY) where available.

The Last Time Quinnipiac Played
Quinnipiac is coming off an incredible, come-from-behind win at Dartmouth on Friday, Jan. 29. Quinnipiac trailed by three goals, 5-2, in the third period before the Bobcats rattled off five unanswered goals on its way to a 7-5 victory.
Sam Anas (Potomac, Maryland) led the Bobcat charge with a three-point night, including the game-tying goal midway through the final period.
Bo Pieper (Roseville, Minnesota) provided the game-winner on a pass from Devon Toews (Abbotsford, British Columbia), who also scored the Bobcats' win.
Landon Smith (Greenwood Village, Colorado) had a goal and two assists to help the Bobcats, while Travis St. Denis (Trail, British Columbia) also had a goal and an assist.
Tim Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) tied his career-high with three assists in the Bobcats' win.
What's Next For The Bobcats?
Following its games against Cornell and Colgate this weekend, the Bobcats will travel to the North Country to face St. Lawrence on Friday, Feb. 12 and Clarkson on Saturday, Feb. 13.
Quinnipiac faced both teams earlier this season, playing Clarkson to a 1-1 tie before following with a 0-0 tie against St. Lawrence on the following night.
The Bobcats' final road trip of the regular season lands on Feb. 19-20 when Quinnipiac faces Rensselaer and Union, respectively.
Quinnipiac will wrap-up the regular season with Senior Night against Brown on Friday, Feb. 26 and the 14th Annual Heroes Hat Game against Yale on Saturday, Feb. 27. Both games will be televised live on SNY.
The Bobcats In The National Polls
The Bobcats were announced as the No. 1 team in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll for the fourth straight week on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016. The Bobcats garnered 28 of the possible 34 first place votes.
The Bobcats also retained the No. 1 in the latest USCHO.com Division I Poll for the third straight week, as announced on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016. The Bobcats received 35 first-place votes, its most this season.
The Bobcats In The PairWise Ranking
Quinnipiac enters its 15th consecutive week in the top spot in the PairWise Ranking.
The PairWise Ranking is a system which attempts to mimic the method used by the NCAA Selection Committee to determine participants for the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament. The PWR compares all teams by these criteria: record against common opponents, head-to-head competition, and the RPI.
For each comparison won, a team receives one point. The final PWR ranking is based on the number of points (comparisons) won. Ties are settled by the RPI.
The Bobcats All-Time Against Cornell
Quinnipiac and Cornell have faced each other 30 times, with the Bobcats owning a 13-15-2 record all-time against the Big Reg.
Quinnipiac has won four of the last five meetings, including three consecutive after a 5-4 overtime win at Cornell on Nov. 7.
Quinnipiac is 5-6-1 in 12 games at High Point Solutions Arena against the Big Red and won the last meeting between the two teams in Hamden, 1-0, on Nov. 8, 2014.
Scouting The No. 17 Cornell University Big Red
Cornell enters the weekend with a record of 11-7-3 overall and 6-6-2 in ECAC Hockey.
Cornell is currently No. 17 in the USCHO.com Division I Poll and is receiving votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll.
Cornell headed into the first-half break with a record of 8-1-2 but have gone 3-6-1 over its last 10 games through last weekend.After opening ECAC Hockey play at 6-1-1, the Big Red are 0-5-1 in their last six league games.
Junior Jeff Kubiak leads Cornell in assists (11) and points (17) while freshman Anthony Angello has scored a team-leading eight goals to go along with seven assists for 15 points.
Mitch Vanderlaan and Matt Buckles have each scored a team-high five goals in ECAC Hockey play.
In goal, Mitch Gillam has logged all but 35 minutes between the pipes and carries an 11-7-3 record with a 1.98 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage.
The Bobcats All-Time Against Colgate
Quinnipiac and Colgate have met 33 times with the Bobcats claiming a 17-14-2 all-time record.
The Bobcats have won three straight, and six of the last eight meetings, against Colgate.
Quinnipiac is 8-4-0 in 12 games against Colgate on its home ice.
Scouting The Colgate University Raiders
Colgate will face Princeton on Friday, Feb. 5 with a record of 7-18-2 overall and 3-10-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
Colgate enters the weekend with the hopes of spelling a four-game losing streak.
Colgate features a pair of 20-point scores in the Spink brothers. Tyson Spink checks-in with a team-high 28 points on the strength of 11 goals and 17 assists while Tylor has five goals to go-along with a team-leading 18 assists for 23 points.
Mike Borkowski has scored a team-high 12 goals this season to pair with five assists for 17 points.
In goal, Charlie Finn is 6-18-1 with a 3.36 GAA and a .895 save percentage.
The Bobcats' Streak
The Bobcats 17-game unbeaten streak to open the season was the second longest unbeaten streak in program history, after the Bobcats posted a 21-game (18-0-3) unbeaten streak in the 2012-13 season.
Quinnipiac's unbeaten streak to start the season was the longest in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey since Colorado College opened the 1995-96 at 15-0-3. It was also the sixth longest in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey since 1970.
Since its loss to Boston University on Dec. 12 to end its season-opening streak, the Bobcats have gone unbeaten in seven straight for the third-longest active streak in NCAA Division I hockey. The Bobcats are 4-0-3 since the start of the second half of the season.

Team Notes
Through 26 games, Quinnipiac has out-scored its opponents 99-42, with four or more goals in 16 of its 26 games.
With a pair of 3-0 wins at Yale and at Brown, and following a 1-0 win against UMass on Nov. 28, Quinnipias posted a shut-out in three straight games for the first time in the program's 41-year history.
35 of Quinnipiac's 99 goals have come in the second period, in which the Bobcats have out-scored their opponents, 35-19.
Quinnipiac has allowed just nine goals after the second period across 26 games.
52 of Quinnipiac's 99 goals have come in the final 10 minutes of the period.
Quinnipiac currently boasts the fifth highest-scoring junior class in the country. The Bobcats' 10 juniors have scored 46 of the Bobcats' 99 goals, while its 111 total points rank fifth behind Boston College (134), Michigan and Minnesota (127) and Sacred Heart (121).

Michael Garteig
Enters the weekend with a record of 20-1-5 with a 1.62 GAA and a .933 save percentage.
In 14 ECAC Hockey games, Garteig is 11-0-3 with a 1.70 GAA and a .929 save percentage.
In five career games against Cornell, Garteig is 4-1-0 with three shutouts, as well as a 1.20 GAA and a .936 save percentage.
For the year, Garteig is 10-1-3 in 14 home games this season with a 1.20 goals-against average and a .953 save percentage with five shutouts.
On the road, Garteig is 9-0-2 with a .915 save percentage and a 1.97 GAA, while his nine road wins lead all NCAA Division I goalies.
In 14 ECAC Hockey games, Garteig is 11-0-3 with a 1.70 GAA and a .929 save percentage.
In 12 non-conference games, Garteig is 9-1-2 with a 1.54 GAA and a .938 save percentage.
In 10 games against ranked opponents, Garteig is 6-1-3 with a 1.76 GAA and a .934 save percentage.
For his career, Garteig is 66-22-14 with a 1.90 GAA and a .918 save percentage in 6,232:18 minutes in 107 career games.
His 18 career shutouts rank fourth in NCAA Division I hockey all-time. Only three goalies in NCAA history - Ryan Miller (26), Joe Fallon (20) and Ben Scrivens (19) - have recorded 19 or more shutouts.
Garteig leads all ECAC Hockey goalies in wins (20), winning percentage (.865), shutouts (7) and is second in goals-against average (1.62) and fifth save percentage (.933).
On Thursday, Jan. 7, Michael Garteig recorded 25 saves in a 5-0 shutout against Union. Garteig's seventh clean sheet of the year is a single-season program record - passing his record of six he set as a sophomore in 2013-14 - and is also the second most in NCAA Division I hockey this season.
Garteig's shutout against Union made him the 24th goalie in NCAA Division I history to record seven shutouts in a single season. Only 12 goalies, entering 2015-16, have recorded eight or more in a season with Boston College's Thatcher Demko joining Garteig this season. Notre Dame's Jordan Pearce was the last one to do it, recording eight in 2009.
Against Brown, Garteig ran his shutout streak to 194:49 minutes - the longest streak in program history, passing Jamie Holden's mark of 191:19 during the 2002-03 season. It was also the 25th longest streak in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey history.
After blanking UMass, Yale and Brown in three-straight games, Garteig became just the 20th goalie in NCAA history to post three consecutive shutouts.
In a 3-0 win at Yale, Gartieg won his 60th career game, breaking the program record of 59 held by JC Wells '01 and Jamie Holden '05.
Garteig's 66 career wins rank first among all active goalies.
Garteig's Honors
Garteig was honored by the Hockey Commissioners' Association as the NCAA Division I National Player of the Month for November. The announcement from the HCA came after Garteig was named ECAC Hockey's Goalie of the Month for the second-consecutive month.
Garteig was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month for December. The Bobcats senior netminder was 4-1-0 with a .945 save percentage and a 1.25 goals-against average, leading all ECAC Hockey goaltenders in wins (4) and shutouts (2) in December.
Garteig was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week on Oct. 27.
He was also named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month for October.
Garteig was named to the Mike Richter Award Watch List on Thursday, Oct. 8. The award is given annually to the top NCAA Division I goalie in the country.
Sam Anas
Sam Anas currently leads Quinnipiac in goals (17) and points (32), while ranking among the national leaders in both categories.
His 17 goals this season rank eighth among all NCAA Division I men's ice hockey student-athletes while his 32 points rank 14th.
He is also one of eight players in the country with 15 goals and 15 assists to date.
For his career, Anas has scored 62 goals and assisted on 52 more for 114 points in 104 career games.
He ranks 10th in career points among active players while his 1.10 points per game are second to Harvard's Jimmy Vesey and Northeastern's Kevin Roy (1.14).
A prolific goal-scorer, Anas has averaged 0.60 goals per game for his career, good for third among all active players while his 25 power play goals rank second.
To date, he is also one of four active players with 60 career goals and 50 career assists.
Anas also ranks 12th in career goals at Quinnipiac, and sixth at the Division I level, and 23rd in career points all-time and 15th at the Division I level.
With a three-point night against UMass on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2015 All-American Sam Anas (Potomac, Maryland) became the 37th player in program history and the 23rd at the Division I level to reach 100 career points. Anas did so in his 92nd career game.
Currently riding a team-leading nine-game point streak featuring eight goals and seven assists.
Anas has tallied a point in 20 of Quinnipiac's first 26 games.
Against Harvard on Friday, Nov. 13, Anas became the 17th Quinnipiac player all-time and 11th player at the NCAA Division I level to score 50 goals, doing so in 87 games.
Travis St. Denis
St. Denis gives the Bobcats two players - along with Sam Anas - with 30 points for the year, logging 13 goals and a team-leading 17 assists.
St. Denis sits at 51 goals and 55 assists for 106 points in 145 career games.
In the Bobcats' 5-0 win against Union on Thursday, Jan. 7, Travis St. Denis scored twice and assisted on another goal to become the 38th player in Quinnipiac history and the 24th at the NCAA Division I level to reach 100 career points.
In 14 home games, St. Denis leads Quinnipiac in goals (8), points (13) and power play goals (5).
St. Denis is also the only player to score two goals in back-to-back games at High Point Solutions Arena this year. He also has a team-best four multiple-point games on the team's home ice.
St. Denis also leads the team with 11 assists on the road.
Tim Clifton
Tim Clifton has been a break-out star for the Bobcats this season, checking in with 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points.
Clifton entered the year with 12 goals and 15 assists in 77 career games and has doubled those numbers in the span of 22 games this year.
Clifton opened the season with a seven-game goal-scoring streak, which stood as the second longest in Quinnipiac history.
He currently ranks 15th nationally and fourth in ECAC Hockey with 1.27 points-per-game.
Clifton also leads ECAC Hockey in assists (12) and is one of three players with 20-or-more points (22) in league games this season.
He's also one of two players, along with Harvard's Jimmy Vesey, to reach the double-digit mark in goals (10) in ECAC Hockey games this year.
Clifton's 20 also leads ECAC Hockey while also ranking as one of 20 players in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey with a plus/minus of 20 or more.
Connor Clifton
Bobcats junior defenseman Connor Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) has blown past his 2014-15 point totals (0-5-5), accumulating four goals and 10 assists for 14 points in 26 games this year.
His 14 points this season are also a career-high, surpassing his nine-point total (5g-4a) as a freshman in 2013-14.
Clifton saw a six-game point streak - the longest of his career - fall with a scoreless showing against Harvard. Clifton scored an empty-net goal against Dartmouth and again against UConn to give him a point in eight of Quinnipiac's first 13 games of the season.
Clifton had an assist in a 3-2 win against Colgate on Friday, Nov. 13 before scoring the game-winner in overtime against Cornell in a 5-4 win in Ithaca, New York.
Clifton was chosen in the 5th Round of the 2013 NHL Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes.
He was the first Quinnipiac freshman to join the Bobcats directly from the prestigious U.S. National Developmental Team.
Chase Priskie
Freshman defenseman Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) has passed out 16 assists, while also scoring once, for 17 points through his first 26 career games.
Priskie's 16 assists rank fifth among all NCAA Division I freshmen.
Priskie leads all ECAC Hockey freshmen, as well as all league defensemen, in assists (16), games played (26), power play assists (8) and power play points (9).
Priskie also leads all freshmen and defensemen in ECAC Hockey with 17 points.
Priskie posted a three-assist outing against Cornell on Nov. 7, making him the first freshman with three assists since Sam Anas at Colgate on Nov. 1, 2013.
The last Quinnipiac defenseman with three assists in a game was Zach Tolkinen against UMass on Nov. 30, 2013.
Derek Smith
Derek Smith (Apple Valley, Minnesota) checks in with three goals and 11 assists for 14 points from the blue line.
Derek Smith leads all ECAC Hockey defensemen with a 18 plus/minus and is one of four defensemen to block 50 or more shots (56, 3rd) for the year.
Smith provided the dramatics when he cleaned up a rebound and scored the game-winner in overtime against No. 4 Harvard at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 9.
Smith found the back of the net in back-to-back games in the Bobcats' 6-0 and 4-3 wins against Princeton on Dec. 29-30.
Smith totaled 13 assists in 36 games as a sophomore last year but sits second in the Bobcats' line-up with 11 helpers this season.
Smith sits in the Bobcats' history books as the first player in program history to have scored on his first two shots on goal, which came in his second and third collegiate games.
Devon Toews
Junior Devon Toews has scored four goals and assisted on 12 more for 16 points in 23 games this season.
Toews scored a goal and assisted another the Bobcats furious 7-5 comeback against Dartmouth, his fifth multiple-point game this season.
Toews scored once and also assisted on another goal in the Bobcats' 3-0 win at No. 10 Yale on Dec. 4.
The Bobcats' defenseman was drafted by the New York Islanders in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft after a freshman campaign that saw him total a goal and 16 assists.
Soren Jonzzon
Quinnipiac captain Soren Jonzzon (Mountain View, California) sparked the Bobcats comeback tie against Rensselaer on Jan. 21 with his fourth goal of the season.
Jonzzonhad an assist in both games against Princeton in the final games during the 2015 calendar year.
Jonzzon had a strong weekend at Yale and Brown, totaling two assists against the Bulldogs while also scoring in the Bobcats' win at Brown.
Jonzzon stands at four goals and eight assists for 12 points this season, giving him 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points for his career.
K.J. Tiefenwerth
Quinnipiac junior K.J. Tiefenwerth is enjoying a break-out season, as he's tallied career-highs in goals (5), assists (7) and points (12).
Tiefenwerth scored a goal in the Bobcats' 5-4 overtime win against No. 4 Harvard at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 9.
Landon Smith
For the year, Smith has accumulated seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points.
Smith peppered in the points against Dartmouth with one goal and two assists for his first three-point game of the season.
Smith's three point performance was also his sixth multiple-point game of the season, and has recorded a point in six of the last seven games.
Landon Smith enjoyed a remarkable first season with the Bobcats in 2014-15, scoring 15 goals and assisting on 16 more for 31 points in his first year of college hockey.
Smith started his sophomore year with a goal in the Bobcats' home opener, but then went nine straight games without a goal.
Coming out of the Thanksgiving break, Smith has four goals, and three assists, in the Bobcats' last seven games.

Quinnipiac is coming off an incredible, come-from-behind win at Dartmouth on Friday, Jan. 29. Quinnipiac trailed by three goals, 5-2, in the third period before the Bobcats rattled off five unanswered goals on its way to a 7-5 victory.
Sam Anas (Potomac, Maryland) led the Bobcat charge with a three-point night, including the game-tying goal midway through the final period.
Bo Pieper (Roseville, Minnesota) provided the game-winner on a pass from Devon Toews (Abbotsford, British Columbia), who also scored the Bobcats' win.
Landon Smith (Greenwood Village, Colorado) had a goal and two assists to help the Bobcats, while Travis St. Denis (Trail, British Columbia) also had a goal and an assist.
Tim Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) tied his career-high with three assists in the Bobcats' win.
What's Next For The Bobcats?
Following its games against Cornell and Colgate this weekend, the Bobcats will travel to the North Country to face St. Lawrence on Friday, Feb. 12 and Clarkson on Saturday, Feb. 13.
Quinnipiac faced both teams earlier this season, playing Clarkson to a 1-1 tie before following with a 0-0 tie against St. Lawrence on the following night.
The Bobcats' final road trip of the regular season lands on Feb. 19-20 when Quinnipiac faces Rensselaer and Union, respectively.
Quinnipiac will wrap-up the regular season with Senior Night against Brown on Friday, Feb. 26 and the 14th Annual Heroes Hat Game against Yale on Saturday, Feb. 27. Both games will be televised live on SNY.
The Bobcats In The National Polls
The Bobcats were announced as the No. 1 team in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll for the fourth straight week on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016. The Bobcats garnered 28 of the possible 34 first place votes.
The Bobcats also retained the No. 1 in the latest USCHO.com Division I Poll for the third straight week, as announced on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016. The Bobcats received 35 first-place votes, its most this season.
The Bobcats In The PairWise Ranking
Quinnipiac enters its 15th consecutive week in the top spot in the PairWise Ranking.
The PairWise Ranking is a system which attempts to mimic the method used by the NCAA Selection Committee to determine participants for the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament. The PWR compares all teams by these criteria: record against common opponents, head-to-head competition, and the RPI.
For each comparison won, a team receives one point. The final PWR ranking is based on the number of points (comparisons) won. Ties are settled by the RPI.
The Bobcats All-Time Against Cornell
Quinnipiac and Cornell have faced each other 30 times, with the Bobcats owning a 13-15-2 record all-time against the Big Reg.
Quinnipiac has won four of the last five meetings, including three consecutive after a 5-4 overtime win at Cornell on Nov. 7.
Quinnipiac is 5-6-1 in 12 games at High Point Solutions Arena against the Big Red and won the last meeting between the two teams in Hamden, 1-0, on Nov. 8, 2014.

Cornell enters the weekend with a record of 11-7-3 overall and 6-6-2 in ECAC Hockey.
Cornell is currently No. 17 in the USCHO.com Division I Poll and is receiving votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll.
Cornell headed into the first-half break with a record of 8-1-2 but have gone 3-6-1 over its last 10 games through last weekend.After opening ECAC Hockey play at 6-1-1, the Big Red are 0-5-1 in their last six league games.
Junior Jeff Kubiak leads Cornell in assists (11) and points (17) while freshman Anthony Angello has scored a team-leading eight goals to go along with seven assists for 15 points.
Mitch Vanderlaan and Matt Buckles have each scored a team-high five goals in ECAC Hockey play.
In goal, Mitch Gillam has logged all but 35 minutes between the pipes and carries an 11-7-3 record with a 1.98 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage.
The Bobcats All-Time Against Colgate
Quinnipiac and Colgate have met 33 times with the Bobcats claiming a 17-14-2 all-time record.
The Bobcats have won three straight, and six of the last eight meetings, against Colgate.
Quinnipiac is 8-4-0 in 12 games against Colgate on its home ice.
Scouting The Colgate University Raiders
Colgate will face Princeton on Friday, Feb. 5 with a record of 7-18-2 overall and 3-10-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
Colgate enters the weekend with the hopes of spelling a four-game losing streak.
Colgate features a pair of 20-point scores in the Spink brothers. Tyson Spink checks-in with a team-high 28 points on the strength of 11 goals and 17 assists while Tylor has five goals to go-along with a team-leading 18 assists for 23 points.
Mike Borkowski has scored a team-high 12 goals this season to pair with five assists for 17 points.
In goal, Charlie Finn is 6-18-1 with a 3.36 GAA and a .895 save percentage.
The Bobcats' Streak
The Bobcats 17-game unbeaten streak to open the season was the second longest unbeaten streak in program history, after the Bobcats posted a 21-game (18-0-3) unbeaten streak in the 2012-13 season.
Quinnipiac's unbeaten streak to start the season was the longest in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey since Colorado College opened the 1995-96 at 15-0-3. It was also the sixth longest in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey since 1970.
Since its loss to Boston University on Dec. 12 to end its season-opening streak, the Bobcats have gone unbeaten in seven straight for the third-longest active streak in NCAA Division I hockey. The Bobcats are 4-0-3 since the start of the second half of the season.

Through 26 games, Quinnipiac has out-scored its opponents 99-42, with four or more goals in 16 of its 26 games.
With a pair of 3-0 wins at Yale and at Brown, and following a 1-0 win against UMass on Nov. 28, Quinnipias posted a shut-out in three straight games for the first time in the program's 41-year history.

Michael Garteig
Enters the weekend with a record of 20-1-5 with a 1.62 GAA and a .933 save percentage.
In 14 ECAC Hockey games, Garteig is 11-0-3 with a 1.70 GAA and a .929 save percentage.
In five career games against Cornell, Garteig is 4-1-0 with three shutouts, as well as a 1.20 GAA and a .936 save percentage.
For the year, Garteig is 10-1-3 in 14 home games this season with a 1.20 goals-against average and a .953 save percentage with five shutouts.
On the road, Garteig is 9-0-2 with a .915 save percentage and a 1.97 GAA, while his nine road wins lead all NCAA Division I goalies.
In 14 ECAC Hockey games, Garteig is 11-0-3 with a 1.70 GAA and a .929 save percentage.
In 12 non-conference games, Garteig is 9-1-2 with a 1.54 GAA and a .938 save percentage.

Garteig leads all ECAC Hockey goalies in wins (20), winning percentage (.865), shutouts (7) and is second in goals-against average (1.62) and fifth save percentage (.933).
On Thursday, Jan. 7, Michael Garteig recorded 25 saves in a 5-0 shutout against Union. Garteig's seventh clean sheet of the year is a single-season program record - passing his record of six he set as a sophomore in 2013-14 - and is also the second most in NCAA Division I hockey this season.
Garteig's shutout against Union made him the 24th goalie in NCAA Division I history to record seven shutouts in a single season. Only 12 goalies, entering 2015-16, have recorded eight or more in a season with Boston College's Thatcher Demko joining Garteig this season. Notre Dame's Jordan Pearce was the last one to do it, recording eight in 2009.
Against Brown, Garteig ran his shutout streak to 194:49 minutes - the longest streak in program history, passing Jamie Holden's mark of 191:19 during the 2002-03 season. It was also the 25th longest streak in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey history.
After blanking UMass, Yale and Brown in three-straight games, Garteig became just the 20th goalie in NCAA history to post three consecutive shutouts.
In a 3-0 win at Yale, Gartieg won his 60th career game, breaking the program record of 59 held by JC Wells '01 and Jamie Holden '05.
Garteig's 66 career wins rank first among all active goalies.
Garteig's Honors
Garteig was honored by the Hockey Commissioners' Association as the NCAA Division I National Player of the Month for November. The announcement from the HCA came after Garteig was named ECAC Hockey's Goalie of the Month for the second-consecutive month.
Garteig was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month for December. The Bobcats senior netminder was 4-1-0 with a .945 save percentage and a 1.25 goals-against average, leading all ECAC Hockey goaltenders in wins (4) and shutouts (2) in December.
Garteig was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week on Oct. 27.
He was also named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month for October.
Garteig was named to the Mike Richter Award Watch List on Thursday, Oct. 8. The award is given annually to the top NCAA Division I goalie in the country.
Sam Anas
Sam Anas currently leads Quinnipiac in goals (17) and points (32), while ranking among the national leaders in both categories.
His 17 goals this season rank eighth among all NCAA Division I men's ice hockey student-athletes while his 32 points rank 14th.
He is also one of eight players in the country with 15 goals and 15 assists to date.
For his career, Anas has scored 62 goals and assisted on 52 more for 114 points in 104 career games.
He ranks 10th in career points among active players while his 1.10 points per game are second to Harvard's Jimmy Vesey and Northeastern's Kevin Roy (1.14).
A prolific goal-scorer, Anas has averaged 0.60 goals per game for his career, good for third among all active players while his 25 power play goals rank second.
To date, he is also one of four active players with 60 career goals and 50 career assists.
Anas also ranks 12th in career goals at Quinnipiac, and sixth at the Division I level, and 23rd in career points all-time and 15th at the Division I level.
With a three-point night against UMass on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2015 All-American Sam Anas (Potomac, Maryland) became the 37th player in program history and the 23rd at the Division I level to reach 100 career points. Anas did so in his 92nd career game.
Currently riding a team-leading nine-game point streak featuring eight goals and seven assists.
Anas has tallied a point in 20 of Quinnipiac's first 26 games.
Against Harvard on Friday, Nov. 13, Anas became the 17th Quinnipiac player all-time and 11th player at the NCAA Division I level to score 50 goals, doing so in 87 games.
Travis St. Denis
St. Denis gives the Bobcats two players - along with Sam Anas - with 30 points for the year, logging 13 goals and a team-leading 17 assists.
St. Denis sits at 51 goals and 55 assists for 106 points in 145 career games.
In the Bobcats' 5-0 win against Union on Thursday, Jan. 7, Travis St. Denis scored twice and assisted on another goal to become the 38th player in Quinnipiac history and the 24th at the NCAA Division I level to reach 100 career points.
In 14 home games, St. Denis leads Quinnipiac in goals (8), points (13) and power play goals (5).
St. Denis is also the only player to score two goals in back-to-back games at High Point Solutions Arena this year. He also has a team-best four multiple-point games on the team's home ice.
St. Denis also leads the team with 11 assists on the road.
Tim Clifton
Tim Clifton has been a break-out star for the Bobcats this season, checking in with 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points.
Clifton entered the year with 12 goals and 15 assists in 77 career games and has doubled those numbers in the span of 22 games this year.
Clifton opened the season with a seven-game goal-scoring streak, which stood as the second longest in Quinnipiac history.
He currently ranks 15th nationally and fourth in ECAC Hockey with 1.27 points-per-game.
Clifton also leads ECAC Hockey in assists (12) and is one of three players with 20-or-more points (22) in league games this season.
He's also one of two players, along with Harvard's Jimmy Vesey, to reach the double-digit mark in goals (10) in ECAC Hockey games this year.
Clifton's 20 also leads ECAC Hockey while also ranking as one of 20 players in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey with a plus/minus of 20 or more.
Connor Clifton
Bobcats junior defenseman Connor Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) has blown past his 2014-15 point totals (0-5-5), accumulating four goals and 10 assists for 14 points in 26 games this year.
His 14 points this season are also a career-high, surpassing his nine-point total (5g-4a) as a freshman in 2013-14.
Clifton saw a six-game point streak - the longest of his career - fall with a scoreless showing against Harvard. Clifton scored an empty-net goal against Dartmouth and again against UConn to give him a point in eight of Quinnipiac's first 13 games of the season.
Clifton had an assist in a 3-2 win against Colgate on Friday, Nov. 13 before scoring the game-winner in overtime against Cornell in a 5-4 win in Ithaca, New York.
Clifton was chosen in the 5th Round of the 2013 NHL Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes.
He was the first Quinnipiac freshman to join the Bobcats directly from the prestigious U.S. National Developmental Team.
Chase Priskie
Freshman defenseman Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) has passed out 16 assists, while also scoring once, for 17 points through his first 26 career games.
Priskie's 16 assists rank fifth among all NCAA Division I freshmen.
Priskie leads all ECAC Hockey freshmen, as well as all league defensemen, in assists (16), games played (26), power play assists (8) and power play points (9).
Priskie also leads all freshmen and defensemen in ECAC Hockey with 17 points.
Priskie posted a three-assist outing against Cornell on Nov. 7, making him the first freshman with three assists since Sam Anas at Colgate on Nov. 1, 2013.
The last Quinnipiac defenseman with three assists in a game was Zach Tolkinen against UMass on Nov. 30, 2013.
Derek Smith
Derek Smith (Apple Valley, Minnesota) checks in with three goals and 11 assists for 14 points from the blue line.
Derek Smith leads all ECAC Hockey defensemen with a 18 plus/minus and is one of four defensemen to block 50 or more shots (56, 3rd) for the year.
Smith provided the dramatics when he cleaned up a rebound and scored the game-winner in overtime against No. 4 Harvard at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 9.
Smith found the back of the net in back-to-back games in the Bobcats' 6-0 and 4-3 wins against Princeton on Dec. 29-30.
Smith totaled 13 assists in 36 games as a sophomore last year but sits second in the Bobcats' line-up with 11 helpers this season.
Smith sits in the Bobcats' history books as the first player in program history to have scored on his first two shots on goal, which came in his second and third collegiate games.
Devon Toews
Junior Devon Toews has scored four goals and assisted on 12 more for 16 points in 23 games this season.
Toews scored a goal and assisted another the Bobcats furious 7-5 comeback against Dartmouth, his fifth multiple-point game this season.
Toews scored once and also assisted on another goal in the Bobcats' 3-0 win at No. 10 Yale on Dec. 4.
The Bobcats' defenseman was drafted by the New York Islanders in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft after a freshman campaign that saw him total a goal and 16 assists.
Soren Jonzzon
Quinnipiac captain Soren Jonzzon (Mountain View, California) sparked the Bobcats comeback tie against Rensselaer on Jan. 21 with his fourth goal of the season.
Jonzzonhad an assist in both games against Princeton in the final games during the 2015 calendar year.
Jonzzon had a strong weekend at Yale and Brown, totaling two assists against the Bulldogs while also scoring in the Bobcats' win at Brown.
Jonzzon stands at four goals and eight assists for 12 points this season, giving him 14 goals and 18 assists for 32 points for his career.
K.J. Tiefenwerth
Quinnipiac junior K.J. Tiefenwerth is enjoying a break-out season, as he's tallied career-highs in goals (5), assists (7) and points (12).
Tiefenwerth scored a goal in the Bobcats' 5-4 overtime win against No. 4 Harvard at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 9.
Landon Smith
For the year, Smith has accumulated seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points.
Smith peppered in the points against Dartmouth with one goal and two assists for his first three-point game of the season.
Smith's three point performance was also his sixth multiple-point game of the season, and has recorded a point in six of the last seven games.
Landon Smith enjoyed a remarkable first season with the Bobcats in 2014-15, scoring 15 goals and assisting on 16 more for 31 points in his first year of college hockey.
Smith started his sophomore year with a goal in the Bobcats' home opener, but then went nine straight games without a goal.
Coming out of the Thanksgiving break, Smith has four goals, and three assists, in the Bobcats' last seven games.
