The Last Time Quinnipiac Played
• On Tuesday, Nov. 17 Sam Anas (Potomac, Maryland) recorded his second three-point game of the season with two goals and one assist as the nationally-ranked No. 2/3 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team came back from a two-goal deficit with six unanswered goals to blow past the UConn Huskies 6-2 at the XL Center in front of 5,476 fans.
• The Bobcats Bobcats extended their winning streak to 11 games to break the program record of 10 straight victories, which they previously accomplished in their final season at the Division II level in 1997-98.
• The Bobcats' four power play goals in the game marked the first time since Oct. 15, 2011 against the Canisius Golden Griffins that Quinnipiac scored four times with a man-advantage.
•With three points, Anas moved within three points of the 100 career-point mark with 97 points. Anas has now scored at least one goal in three straight games while recording a point in five consecutive games. Anas has tallied a point in 10 of the 11 games this season for the Bobcats, one of two players on the team to accomplish the feat.
• Tim Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) extended his goal-scoring streak to seven games with a power play goal in the second period. Clifton's goal was his eighth of the season and fifth on the power play.
• Freshman Luke Shiplo (Oakville, Ontario) scored his first career goal while Travis St. Denis (Trail, British Columbia) and Connor Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) both scored for Quinnipiac.
• Michael Garteig did not start the game, but played the final 39:58 of regulation and held UConn scoreless to earn his NCAA-leading 11th win of the year, and also the 57th of his career.

• Anas has tallied a point in 10 of Quinnipiac's first 11 games, highlighted by a two-goal, one-assist three-point night against Holy Cross and a two-assist outing against St. Cloud State.
• Against Harvard on Friday, Nov. 13, Anas became the 17th Quinnipiac player all-time and 11th player at the NCAA Division I level to score 50 goals, doing so in 87 games.
• Anas is the Bobcats' active leading scorer with 53 goals and 44 assists for 97 points in 89 career games.
• Anas ranks fifth among active players with 53 career goals while his 0.60 goal-per-game average puts him tied with Harvard's Jimmy Vesey.

• Bobcats junior Tim Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) enters the weekend with a seven-game goal streak. The streak is the second longest in Quinnipiac's Division I history following Chris Cerrella's 11-game goal streak in 1999-00.
• Clifton scored in both games of the Bobcats' season-opening weekend against Holy Cross before missing the next four games to injury. Since returning, he's scored in each of the Bobcats last four games, totaling five goals and an assist.
• For the year, Clifton has scored eight goals and tallied three assists for 10 points in seven games. For his career, he has 20 goals and 18 assists for 38 points in 84 career games.
Connor Clifton
• Bobcats junior defenseman Connor Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) has blown past his 2014-15 point totals (0-5), accumulating three goals and six assists for nine points in the first 11 games of the year.
• Clifton entered this past weekend with a team-best six-game point streak, which fell with a scoreless showing against Harvard. Clifton scored an empty-net goal against Dartmouth and again against UConn to give him a point in eight of Quinnipiac's last nine games.
• Clifton had an assist in a 3-2 win against Colgate on Friday, Nov. 13 before scoring the game-winner in overtime against Cornell in a 5-4 win in Ithaca, New York.
• Clifton also leads the Bobcats with a +10, while he has been to the penalty box just three times in 11 games.
• Clifton was chosen in the 5th Round of the 2013 NHL Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes.

• Quickly making a name for himself, freshman defenseman Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) has passed out a team-leading 11 assists, while also scoring once, for 12 points through his first 11 career games.
• This past weekend, Priskie had assists against Harvard and Dartmouth, which followed a three-assist outing against Cornell to give him six in his last four games.
• The last freshman with three assists in a game was Sam Anas at Colgate on Nov. 1, 2013.
• The last Quinnipiac defenseman with three assists in a game was Zach Tolkinen against UMass on Nov. 30, 2013.
Derek Smith
• Derek Smith checks in with nine assists from the blue line. The Bobcats' junior defenseman saw a four-game point streak end at Colgate but has dished out five assists in his last four games.
• Smith totaled 13 assists in 36 games as a sophomore last year but sits second in the Bobcats' line-up with nine helpers.

Sam Anas
• With a two-goal, one-assist showing against UConn on Tuesday night, 2015 All-American Sam Anas (Potomac, Maryland) sits atop the Bobcats' leader board with 15 points – coming on eight goals and seven assists.
• Anas has tallied a point in 10 of Quinnipiac's first 11 games, highlighted by a two-goal, one-assist three-point night against Holy Cross and a two-assist outing against St. Cloud State.
• Against Harvard on Friday, Nov. 13, Anas became the 17th Quinnipiac player all-time and 11th player at the NCAA Division I level to score 50 goals, doing so in 87 games.
• Anas is the Bobcats' active leading scorer with 53 goals and 44 assists for 97 points in 89 career games.
• Anas ranks fifth among active players with 53 career goals while his 0.60 goal-per-game average puts him tied with Harvard's Jimmy Vesey.
• Anas currently ranks second among active players with 23 career power play goals.
• In 2015, Anas is one of two NCAA Division I men's ice hockey juniors – along with Union's Mike Vecchione – to rank in the Top 20 in career points and is the only junior in the Top 10.
Tim Clifton
• Bobcats junior Tim Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) enters the weekend with a seven-game goal streak. The streak is the second longest in Quinnipiac's Division I history following Chris Cerrella's 11-game goal streak in 1999-00.
• Clifton scored in both games of the Bobcats' season-opening weekend against Holy Cross before missing the next four games to injury. Since returning, he's scored in each of the Bobcats last four games, totaling five goals and an assist.
• For the year, Clifton has scored eight goals and tallied three assists for 10 points in seven games. For his career, he has 20 goals and 18 assists for 38 points in 84 career games.
Connor Clifton
• Bobcats junior defenseman Connor Clifton (Matawan, New Jersey) has blown past his 2014-15 point totals (0-5), accumulating three goals and six assists for nine points in the first 11 games of the year.
• Clifton entered this past weekend with a team-best six-game point streak, which fell with a scoreless showing against Harvard. Clifton scored an empty-net goal against Dartmouth and again against UConn to give him a point in eight of Quinnipiac's last nine games.
• Clifton had an assist in a 3-2 win against Colgate on Friday, Nov. 13 before scoring the game-winner in overtime against Cornell in a 5-4 win in Ithaca, New York.
• Clifton also leads the Bobcats with a +10, while he has been to the penalty box just three times in 11 games.
• Clifton was chosen in the 5th Round of the 2013 NHL Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes.
• He was the first Quinnipiac freshman to join the Bobcats directly from the prestigious U.S. National Developmental Team.
Chase Priskie
• Quickly making a name for himself, freshman defenseman Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) has passed out a team-leading 11 assists, while also scoring once, for 12 points through his first 11 career games.
• This past weekend, Priskie had assists against Harvard and Dartmouth, which followed a three-assist outing against Cornell to give him six in his last four games.
• The last freshman with three assists in a game was Sam Anas at Colgate on Nov. 1, 2013.
• The last Quinnipiac defenseman with three assists in a game was Zach Tolkinen against UMass on Nov. 30, 2013.
Derek Smith
• Derek Smith checks in with nine assists from the blue line. The Bobcats' junior defenseman saw a four-game point streak end at Colgate but has dished out five assists in his last four games.
• Smith totaled 13 assists in 36 games as a sophomore last year but sits second in the Bobcats' line-up with nine helpers.
• Smith sits in the Bobcats' history books as the first player in program history to have scored on his first two shots on goal, which came in his second and third collegiate games.
