Their Last Time Out
- Quinnipiac is coming off a 5-0 win against Arizona State on Thursday, Oct. 15.
- Four different Bobcats scored against the Sun Devils, led by freshman Thomas Aldworth's (Keller, Texas) two-goal outing.
- Aldworth also added an assist giving him six points in his last two games.
- Sam Anas (Potomac, Maryland), Devon Toews (Abbotsford, British Columbia) and Travis St. Denis (Trail, British Columbia) all scored for the Bobcats, with Toews also adding an assist.
- In goal, Bobcats senior Michael Garteig (Prince George, British Columbia) recorded his 12th career shutout to improve to 3-0-0 on the year while also picking up his 49th career win.
- Maine is coming off a 0-1-1 weekend at ECAC Hockey foe Union that featured a 1-1 tie on Friday, Oct. 16 and a 2-0 loss on Saturday, Oct. 17.
- Brian Morgan scored the Black Bears only goal of the weekend.
- Rob McGovern got the start in goal on Friday night and stopped 28 of 29 shots-on-goal while Matt Morris took the 2-0 loss on Saturday after stopping 31 of the 33 shots he saw for the night.

- Goalie Michael Garteig (Prince George, British Columbia) backstopped the Bobcats with 29 saves on 30 Maine shots.
- Kellen Jones (Montrose, British Columbia) beat Maine goalie Martin Ouellette for his 11th marker of the year while Cory Hibbeler (St. Charles, Mo.) and Dan Federico (Acton, Mass.) also had assists.

- Maine comes to Hamden on Tuesday night in search of its first win of the year after posting a pair of ties at the Icebreaker Tournament in Portland, Maine on Oct. 9-10.
- The Black Bears opened with a 3-3 tie against Michigan State before also tying North Dakota, 1-1.
- Brian Morgan leads the Black Bears with two goals to date.
- Blaine Byron checks-in with a team-leading three points on a goal and two assists.

Thomas Aldworth
- The talk of Hamden is first-year Bobcat Thomas Aldworth who quickly gained the favor of the High Point Solutions Arena faithful with back-to-back three-point nights in his first two career home games.
- Aldworth had a goal and two assists in the Bobcats' 4-2 home-opener win against Holy Cross on Oct. 10.
- He then followed with a two-goal, one-assist showing in a 5-0 win against Arizona State on Thursday, Oct. 15.
- Aldworth sits tied with Sam Anas with a team-high three goals and has also matched Devon Toews with a team-best three assists to date.
- Aldworth is one of nine NCAA Division I men's ice hockey players with three games played this year to average two points per game to date.
- Aldworth suited-up for a team-leading 57 games with the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL in 2014-15, scoring 37 goals and tallying 19 assists for 56 points.
Michael Garteig
- Michael Garteig has kicked-off his senior campaign with three-straight victories and stands at 3-0-0 with a 1.67 GAA and a .907 save percentage.
- Garteig posted his Quinnipiac record 12th shutout in the Bobcats' win against Arizona State, stopping all 15 shots he saw in the non-conference match-up.
- Garteig will go for his 50th career win on Tuesday night and enters the contest with a career mark of 49-21-9.
- Garteig was named to the Mike Richter Award Watch List on Thursday, Oct. 8. The award is given annually to the top NCAA Division I goalie in the country.
- Garteig entered 2015-16 ranked 5th in career saves among active players (1,632); 1st in career wins among active players (46); 1st in career shutouts (11) among active players; 3rd in career goals-against (1.99) among active players.

- Sam Anas enters Tuesday night's game tied with freshman Thomas Aldworth for the team-lead in goals with three apiece.
- Anas has also dished out two assists for five points in his first three games.
