As a Freshman in 2014-15:
- Appeared in 12 games for the Bobcats
- Selected to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team
- Finished the season with one assist and 16 shots
- Registered his first career point with an assist at UMass Lowell on Oct. 17
- Finished with a season-high five shots-on-goal on Nov. 1 against Northeastern.
Before Quinnipiac:
- Played alongside his brother, Bo Pieper, for the Coquitlam Express in the BCHL in 2013-14
- In his first full season with Coquitlam, he scored 33 goals and 33 assists for 66 points in 57 games
- Came up big in the postseason, registering 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) in 19 games to lead the Express to the BCHL Championship in 2013-14
- Before his time with Coquitlam, Canon played two full seasons in the USHL where he tallied 30 points in 114 games playing for two teams, the Indiana Ice (2012-13) and Chicago Steel (2011-12)
- Starred for Shattuck St. Mary’s at the prep school level as he tallied 40 points (10 goals, 30 assists) while playing for the Midget Prep team
- In his first year at Shattuck in 2009-10, he registered 45 points (19 goals, 26 assists) while playing for the U-16 team.
