AS A JUNIOR IN 2013-14:
Selected to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team …Appeared in 36 games for the Bobcats and registered a career-high14 points (one goal, 13 assists) … Named co-captainalongside classmate Matthew Peca for the 2014-15 season … Healso led all Quinnipiac skaters and tied for the ECAC Hockey leadwith a +19 plus/minus rating … Also committed just threepenalties all season, including separate 14-game and 13-gamestreaks throughout the season in which he didn’t commit apenalty … Named a finalist for the ECAC Hockey BestDefensive Defenseman Award … One of just 13 players in theECAC Hockey with 50 or more blocked shots on the season …Ranked 13th among ECAC Hockey defensemen with 14 points …Scored his first career goal in a 7-2 win at Colgate on Nov. 1… Registered an assist on the game-winning goals in both a4-3 win against Bentley on Oct. 22 and versus Maine on Jan. 3… Posted a multi-point game with two assist againstMerrimack on Jan. 17 … For the season, the Bobcats posted anincredible record of 10-1-2 in the 13 games in which Federicoregistered a point … He tallied assists in victories overUMass-Lowell (Oct. 18), at Holy Cross (Oct. 25), Dartmouth (Nov.16), Massachusetts (Nov. 30), Sacred Heart (Dec. 30) and atDartmouth (Jan. 31) … Also posted a season-best +3plus/minus in the Bobcats’ 8-1 road victory at the BigGreen.
