As A Sophomore in 2014-15:
- Followed up his breakout freshman season with another illustrious campaign, once again leading the Bobcats with 39 points (23 goals, 16 assists) while playing in 38 games.
- Named one of the Bobcats’ assistant captains for the 2015-16 season.
- Was a 2014-15 AHCA/CCM Hockey All-American Second Team selection, becoming just the third player in program history to receive All-American honors joining Eric Hartzell (2012-13) and Reid Cashman (2005-07).
- Anas also named to the 2014-15 New England Division I Men’s Hockey All-Star Team by the New England Hockey Writers Association.
- Also announced as a Hobey Baker Nominee on Jan. 7 and one of the semi-finalists for the 63rd Walter Brown Award, presented annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England .
- Selected to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.
- Ranked 34th among all skaters in the nation in points per game (1.03), tied for eighth in goals per game (0.61) and tied for third in power play goals.
- Among all underclassmen in the nation, Anas finished second in goals, tied for eighth in points, ninth in points per game, tied for first in power play goals and third in shots-on-goal.
- Also tied for eighth in the nation in shots-on-goal (161) and tied for 14th in power play points (17).
- He also was named to the All-ECAC Hockey Second Team to become just the second two-time All-ECAC hockey selection and first forward to do so in program history (Reid Cashman).
- Anas finished the 2014-15 regular season as one of three ECAC Hockey players to reach 20 goals and one of five to tally 36 or more points.
- He was one of five players in the ECAC Hockey to average better than one point per game (1.06).
- In league play, Anas ranked third in goals (12), ninth in assists (11) and fourth in total points (23) as one of ECAC Hockey’s eight 20-point scorers in league games only.
- He was also one of five players to post double-digit goal and assist totals in league play and was second among all skaters with four multi-goal games in ECAC Hockey competition.
- Opened the year up strong with a four-game point streak to start the season.
- Pumped in a multi-goal game with two power play tallies to go along with the eventual game-winner in a 5-3 win over Bentley on Oct. 11.
- Picked up another power play goal at UMass Lowell on Oct. 17.
- Fired a season-high 12 shots-on-goal while finishing with two assists in a 3-3 tie against UMass Lowell on Oct. 18.
- Picked up the Bobcats’ lone goal against UConn on Oct. 21 from the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport.
- Tallied an incredible five points (two goals, three assists) across two games starting with two assists in a 4-3 win over Northeastern on Nov. 2.
- Followed that up with a three-point game (two goals, one assist) including the game-winner and season-high +3 plus/minus rating in a 5-0 shutout of Colgate on Nov. 7.
- Played huge, matching his career-high with four points (one goal, three assists) as he had a hand in all four of the Bobcats’ goals in a last minute victory at Union, 4-3, on Nov. 14.
- Blasted home the game-winning overtime goal as part of a two-goal game at St. Lawrence on Nov. 22.
- Picked up a power play tally in a 3-1 win at UMass on Nov. 28.
- Assisted on the game-tying goal as the Bobcats went on to eventually win, 2-1, over Dartmouth in overtime on Dec. 5.
- Tallied one assist in a 2-0 home win over Princeton on Dec. 27.
- Started a season-long seven-game point streak on Jan. 9 as he went on to total 11 points (six goals, five assists) across the seven game stretch.
- He started the streak with a two-assist game in a 4-2 win over Rensselaer on Jan. 9.
- Landed one assist in the Bobcats’ 4-3 home win over Union on Jan. 10.
- Had a hand in all three of the Bobcats’ goals at Merrimack on Jan. 16 as he registered three points (two goals, one assist) including one power play tally.
- Pumped in another power play tally against Merrimack on the following night on Jan. 17.
- Lit the lamp once at Brown in the Bobcats’ 5-3 road win at Brown on Jan. 30.
- Scored both of the Bobcats’ goals in a 2-2 tie at Yale on Jan. 31.
- Assisted on the game-winning overtime goal of a 1-0 road win at Cornell on Feb. 6.
- Picked up an assist on a power play goal in a 4-1 win over Clarkson on Feb. 14.
- Scored the game-tying goal in a 2-2 tie against Brown on Feb. 21.
- Opened up a career-long five-game goal scoring streak toward the end of the year scoring seven goals over the five game stretch.
- Pumped in two goals in a 5-2 road win at Harvard on Feb. 27.
- Lit the lamp once at Dartmouth on Feb. 28.
- Let the Bobcats with three goals in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals against Union.
- Came through in the clutch in Game One of the postseason series against Union as he scored twice in a matter of 58 seconds in the final two minutes of regulation to even the score at 3-3 and send the Bobcats to an eventual 4-3 triple overtime win on March 13.
- Also picked up one goal in Game Two of the Quarterfinal series on March 14.
As A Freshman in 2013-14:
- Put together one of the finest seasons in Quinnipiac hockey history, leading the Bobcats with 43 points (22 goals, 21 assists) while playing in all 40 games
- Received the Tim Taylor Award from the Hockey Commissioners Association (HCA) as the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey National Rookie of the Year.
- Anas was the first Quinnipiac player in the program’s history to be honored with the award, given to the top freshman in NCAA Div. I.
- Not only did he lead the team but he led all NCAA Div. I freshmen in goals (22) and points (43) as well as points per game (1.07).
- Anas’ 21 assists also ranked seventh among all first-year Div. I players.
- For his efforts, Anas was selected as the ECAC Hockey Co-Rookie of the Year and was named to the 2014 ECAC Hockey Second Team and the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team.
- Was also named the George C. Carens Rookie of the Year by the New England Hockey Writers Association and the College Hockey News Rookie of the Year.
- Anas was also named the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week three times, the most of any player in the conference, and earned AHCA National Rookie of the Month as well as ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Month honors for November.
- Was also an ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team selection.
- Anas also finished the year as one of 21 players in NCAA Div. I hockey to score 20 goals and was the only freshman to tally 40 points in his first season.
- He was also the first freshman since 2011-12 to reach the 40-point mark.
- Anas joins Brian Hebert as just the second freshman in Quinnipiac Div. I history to reach 20 goals and 20 assist in his first season, as Hebert tallied 22 goals and 32 assists in 1999-00.
- He was the third Quinnipiac player – joining Bryan Leitch in 2006 and Brandon Wong in 2007 – to be honored as a recipient of the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year award.
- Anas had multiple points in 12 games, including a season-high of four points in a 7-2 win at Colgate on Nov. 1.
- He also had a pair of three-point outbursts when he tallied a goal and two assists against Alaska Fairbanks (Oct. 13) and on Jan. 11 with the same line of one goal and two assists against Rensselaer.
- Three of Anas’ goals were game-winners for the Bobcats.
- Reeled off a season-best eight-game scoring streak from Oct. 22 through Nov. 15 in which Anas tallied 13 points (seven goals, six assists).
- During the scoring streak, Anas scored goals in four straight games and had six tallies combined throughout that four-game stretch.
- Tallied his first multi-goal game on Oct. 22 against Bentley.
- Picked up back-to-back game-winning goals for the Bobcats in a home-and-home series against Holy Cross (Oct. 25-26).
- Scored his season-best four points (one goal, three assists) on Nov. 1 at Colgate.
- Hit his stride with four straight games from Nov. 22–30 in which he tallied the same line of one goal and one assist for two points.
- His scoring streak stretched to a fifth game as the Bobcat rookie tallied one goal in five straight games.
- Picked up three points (one goal, two assists) in a 6-2 win over Rensselaer on Jan. 11.
- Scored five points (two goals, three assists) over three games between Jan. 18–Feb. 7.
- Netted one goal in back-to-back games at Yale and Brown on Feb. 14 and 15, respectively.
- Tallied two points (one goal, one assist) in an 8-0 victory at St. Lawrence on Feb. 28.
- Assisted on the Bobcats’ game-tying goal in the third period at Clarkson on Mar. 1.
- Pumped in two big goals for the Bobcats in their series-clinching 5-3 win over Yale in the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals on Mar. 15.
- Scored one goal against Colgate in the ECAC Hockey Semifinals.
Before Quinnipiac:
- Joined Quinnipiac after a two-year career with the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League.
- With the Phantoms, he totaled 54 goals and 43 assists for 97 points in 115 career games.
- Ranked third among USHL skaters with 37 goals in 2012-13 while he also assisted on 26 goals for 60 points, good for 12th in the USHL.
- In 2012-13, he posted 10 multiple-goal games and 20 multiple-point games.
- In 2011-12, he scored 17 goals while assisting on 17 more for 34 points in 51 games played.
- Prior to being selected in the USHL Draft by Youngstown, he captained Landon (Md.) Prep School to the Mid-Atlantic Prep Hockey League Title as he averaged two goals and four points per game in a season highlighted by a hat trick in four straight games.
- In 2011, he was named the Washington Post All-Metropolitan Player of the Year, Gazette Player of the Year and All-MAPHL Player of the Year.
- Was also featured in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces In The Crowd.”
