Vorster, House Lift #8/7 Bobcats Past #10 Clarkson in Overtime

POTSDAM, N.Y. – Courtney Vorster scored the overtime game-winning goal to lift the No. 8/7 Quinnipiac Bobcats over the Clarkson Golden Knights on Friday evening. Taylor House scored the Bobcats' first goal to get the team going in the first period.
Logan Angers made a season-high 33 saves in her 11th victory of the season. The Bobcat tallied two power play goals in the win and edged Clarkson in shots, 35-34.
Quinnipiac picked up two points in the overtime win and improve to 19-5-3 on the season and 11-4 in conference play.

- (6:01, 1st period, PP) – Quinnipiac 1, Clarkson 0: The Bobcats got on the board in the first period with a power play goal 23 seconds into the penalty kill for Clarkson. Sophomore Olivia Mobley passed the puck over to junior Kate Reilly, who sent it to House on the back door. House shot the puck first time, top shelf, past Clarkson's Pasiechnyk.
- (2:16, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 1, Clarkson 1: Clarkson's Jenna Goodwin tied the game early in the third period. Laurence Frenette tallied the assist on the goal.
- (3:24, OT, PP) – Quinnipiac 2, Clarkson 1: Courtney Vorster scored the game-winner in overtime to lift the Bobcats past the Golden Knights. Lexie Adzija passed the puck to Zoe Boyd, who found Vorster at the point. Vorster shot it on net and it tipped off a Clarkson player and into the net.
- Quinnipiac earned its 14th win against Clarkson and first win in Potsdam since Feb. 14, 2020.
- House and Vorster tallied goals in the win. House scored her 11th goal of the season, and Vorster notched her third of the season (2nd game-winning goal).
- Mobley, Reilly, Boyd and Adzija all tallied helpers in the win.
- Angers made 33 saves in the net, which is a new season high for the netminder.
- Quinnipiac went 2-2 on the power play and 3-3 on the penalty kill. The Bobcats are 9-0 this season when scoring on the power play.
