HAMDEN, Conn. - The No. 4/4 Quinnipiac Bobcats are set to play its first two-game weekend since Jan. 1 and 2 as No. 9/9 Harvard and Dartmouth come to compete in Hamden. The Bobcats are coming off a 5-0 win against Union on Jan. 17 and hold a 16-3-3 overall record with an 8-2-0 conference record.

Last Time Out
The Bobcats traveled to Union to play the Dutchwomen on Monday, Jan. 17. This game had been originally scheduled for Jan. 15 but was pushed back. Quinnipiac dominated the Dutchwomen in a 5-0 shutout victory to earn the team's eighth conference victory. Four different Bobcats scored in the win. The sophomore lit up the box score with four goals from Nina Steigauf (2), Kendall Cooper and Olivia Mobley. Junior Sadie Peart scored the game-winning goal in the second period on the power play. Cooper and Mobley each tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team with three points each. Nine Bobcats tallied at least one point in the 5-0 victory. Redshirt junior Logan Angers made 15 saves in the net, tallying her third shutout of the season.
Scouting #9/9 Harvard
The Harvard Crimson hold a 12-5 overall record with a 9-3 conference record. The Crimson sit at the top of the ECAC Hockey standings with 12 games played and 28 points. Harvard is coming off an 8-0 victory over Dartmouth on Jan. 18. The Crimson are set to face off against Princeton and Quinnipiac this weekend.
Becca Gilmore leads the team with 22 points on 11 goals and 11 assists. Seven Harvard skaters have tallied double-digit points this season. This year, Harvard is averaging 3.9 goals per game with 34.2 shots on net. The Crimson netminders have split time this season – Becky Dutton is 7-2 this year with a 1.55 goals against average and a .930 save percentage. Angers has tallied a 1.31 save percentage, which is ranked nationally right behind Schroeder. In addition, Angers is the only goalie in the country who has not lost a game yet, tallying a .944 winning percentage to lead the nation.
Mobes & Coop Making It Happen
Olivia Mobley and Kendall Cooper both tallied three points in the Bobcats' 5-0 win over Union on Monday evening. Mobley has recorded four multi-point games this season, which is ranked second on the team. Cooper tallied her second goal of the season and second multi-point game against Union.
Peart Points
Sadie Peart scored her second power play goal and third game-winning goal this season against Union. She also notched her fifth multi-point game of the season, which leads the team. She has recorded 20 points this season, which is just four points away from tying her career high.

Sophomore Nina Steigauf has scored six goals in her last seven games, tallying 15 points this season with 11 goals to lead the team. She is ranked fourth on the team in scoring with 15 points on 11 goals and four assists.

The two Canadians have played hockey together since they were little and will look to bring their familiarity and cohesiveness to the ice on offense. Veronica Bac comes to Hamden from Huntley, Ill., and was a member of the Chicago mission team. Kate Helgeson is a forward hailing from Roseau High School in Roseau, Minn. Mallory Mauracher and Mia Lopata complete the first-year group, and come from Dublin, Ohio and Clinton, N.Y., respectively.
Two Transfers Join the Squad
Fifth-year graduate student Corinne Schroeder and junior Jessica Schryver transferred to Quinnipiac during the offseason. Schroeder joins the Bobcats after a decorated career at Boston University. With the Terries, Schroeder tallied a 1.98 goals against average and a .929 save percentage, which were both BU program records. She recorded eight shutouts through 91 career games played. She was named Hockey East Second Team All-Star (2019-20), Third Team All-Star (2018-19), All-Rookie Team, All-Academic Team, Goaltender of the Month (Oct. 2019, Dec. 2018) and Defensive Player of the Week (seven times) while playing for BU. Schryver comes to Hamden from Northeaster, who played in the National Championship game this past season. While playing for the Huskies, Schryver played in 35 games, recording six goals and 19 assists. She led all Northeastern first years with 19 assists in 2019-20.
Leadership Group
Olivia Konigson is set to lead the Bobcats as the captain for the second year in a row. Joining Konigson, Renee Saltness, Lexie Adzija and Zoe Boyd will all wear the As, as assistant captains.
