
Cooper, Mobley Lead Bobcats Past Union, 5-0

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Sophomores Kendall Cooper and Olivia Mobley led the Bobcats with three points each in No. 4/5 Quinnipiac's 5-0 victory over Union on Monday evening. Quinnipiac earns its 16th win of the season and improves to 8-2-0 in conference play.
The Bobcats out shot the Dutchwomen, 42-15 in the win. Four Bobcats recorded multi-point games - Cooper (1G, 2A), Mobley (1G, 2A), Steigauf (2G) and Peart (1G, 1A). Redshirt junior Logan Angers made 15 saves and tallied her third shutout of the season and the team's sixth.

- (5:34, 2nd period, PP) – Quinnipiac 1, Union 0: The Bobcats got on the board early in the second period with a power play goal by junior Sadie Peart. Cooper secured the puck at the point and found Mobley on the left side. Peart was on the left side of the crease and tapped in home past Union's Olivia Rinzel.
- (7:28, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Union 0: Nina Steigauf tallied her first goal of the game on an impossible angle from the right side to give Quinnipiac a 2-0 lead. Junior Kate Reilly and graduate student Olivia Konigson added helpers on the goal.
- (10:45, 2nd period, PP) – Quinnipiac 3, Union 0: Steigauf added another goal about three minutes later on the power play right in front of the net. Junior Alexa Hoskin and redshirt junior Courtney Vorster tallied assists on the goal.
- (12:04, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 4, Union 0: Cooper scored a goal from the left side to give the Bobcats a 4-0 lead. Mobley and Peart added helpers on the goal.
- (18:44, 3rdd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 5, Union 0: Mobley tallied her third point of the game with a nice move past a Union defenseman to seal the Bobcats' 5-0 victory.
- Quinnipiac earned its 34th win against Union all time and its 16th shutout victory against the Dutchwomen.
