Rashawn Dally Makes MLS Debut for FC Cincinnati

Dally Becomes Second Player in Program History to Play in MLS Contest
CINCINNATI – Former Quinnipiac men's soccer forward Rashawn Dally made his MLS debut for FC Cincinnati on Saturday, June 22 at Nippert Stadium.
Dally was a member of FC Cincinatti's starting lineup vs. the LA Galaxy in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 35,000, making his debut five months after becoming the first player in program history to be drafted by an MLS franchise. He recorded three total shots in the game, two going on target.
Dally – who was drafted with the first pick of the third round in the MLS SuperDraft by FC Cincinatti on Jan. 14, 2019 – becomes the second player in program history to appear in an MLS contest. Former Quinnipiac men's soccer standout Freddy Hall played in six games for Toronto FC in 2012.
Dally recorded 16 points and 15 assists in his career with the Bobcats, playing in 78 career games - which ranks tied for No. 5 in program history. He tallied six goals and six assists in 2018 to finish second on the team in total scoring (18 points). Dally recorded 15 points (five goals, five assists) in MAAC play. He was a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Third-Team honoree (2016, 2018), and a three-time All-MAAC performer (2018 first team; 2016, 2017 second team).
He has been selected to Jamaica's provisional roster for this summer's 2019 Gold Cup, as revealed by The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) on Monday, May 20.
