Bobcats take on Big Green and Crimson on Friday and Saturday
HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's hockey team will return home to host the Dartmouth Big Green and Harvard Crimson. Puck drop against the Big Green is set for Friday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. The Crimson will come to Hamden, Conn., on Saturday, Nov. 9 for a 3 p.m. start.

GAME NOTES
Last Time Out
Quinnipiac opened ECAC play on the road at Princeton, Cornell and Colgate. The Bobcats dropped the first three ECAC games of the season against some of the top teams in the country.
Against the Princeton Tigers (then ranked No. 5), the Bobcats went into the third period tied 1-1. Senior Kenzie Prater scored the equalizer in the second period. The Tigers scored three goals in the third to take a 4-1 lead. Junior Brooke Bonsteel scored with one minute remaining to take the score to 4-2, and the Tigers would hold on to win.
On Friday, Nov. 1, the Bobcats took on the No. 3 Cornell Big Red in Ithaca. Quinnipiac held Cornell to just one goal off of a 5-v-3 power play. Quinnipiac allowed just one goal and 19 shots on goal against Cornell. They are the only team to achieve the feats this season against the Big Red.
The Bobcats took on the Colgate Raiders on Saturday, Nov. 2 in Hamilton, N.Y. Quinnipiac jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first period with goals from sophomores Lexie Adzija and Zoe Boyd. The Raiders would score four unanswered goals in the second and the third to win the game, 4-2.
Scouting Dartmouth
The Big Green will come to Hamden with a 1-3-0 record overall and a 1-2-0 conference record. Dartmouth earned its first win of the season against Brown, 3-2. In ECAC play, Dartmouth dropped a game to Yale and Harvard. Catherine Trevors is the leading scorer for the Big Green with two goals and two assists for four points. In the net, Hannah Humphreys has recorded an .889 save percentage and 3.26 goals against average.
The Big Green have converted one power play goal on 14 attempts. On the penalty kill, Dartmouth has allowed three power play goals out of 19 kills.
All-Time against the Big Green
Quinnipiac has an all-time record of 13-12-3 against Dartmouth. In 2018-19, the Bobcats went 1-1 against the Big Green in ECAC play, earning a 5-1 win on the road after dropping an overtime game at home.
Scouting Harvard
The Harvard Crimson hold a 3-0-0 record overall to start the 2019-20 season. All three wins have been conference games. Harvard opened the season with a 7-4 win against Dartmouth. The three-game win streak continued with a 4-1 win against Brown and a 5-2 win against Yale. Dominique Petrie leads the team with six points on two goals and four assists. Lindsay Reed, a finalist for Goalie of the Year and Rookie of the Year in 2018-19, has started in two of three games for Harvard. She has recorded a .882 save percentage and 3.01 goals against average.
All-Time Against the Crimson
The Bobcats hold a 9-18-3 record against the Crimson. Quinnipiac has not lost to Harvard in eight meetings. The Bobcats have won the last four-straight games against the Crimson, all of which have been one-goal games. The last time the Bobcats lost to the Crimson was March 14, 2015.
Immediate Impact
The Quinnipiac first-year class has quickly and positively impacted the team on the ice to start the 2019-20 season. First-year Kate Reilly is ranked fourth on the team in points with one goal and four assists for five points. Her five points is ranked sixth in the conference play for defensemen scoring. On the power play, Reilly has scored one goal and two assists, which is ranked 10th in the ECAC. Sadie Peart has tallied three goals and one assist for four points on the season, including a game-winner and two power play goals.
Defensive Core
Quinnipiac's defensive core has allowed 15 goals this season, earning a 1.67 goals against average. Junior Olivia Konigson leads the team with 14 blocks, followed by Prater with 13. Reilly, Prater and senior Kati Tabin have each scored five points, which is ranked in the top ten in defenseman scoring in the ECAC. Quinnipiac is the only team to have three defensemen in the top ten.

Senior Kati Tabin and Prater have each tallied five points on one goal and four assists, which is ranked second and third on the team.
Leading the Charge
The captains for the Bobcats have been named ahead of the 2019-20 season. Wearing the "C" will be seniors Kenzie Prater and Kati Tabin. The alternate captains will be senior Abbie Ives and junior Olivia Konigson.

The Bobcats have scored 22 goals this season with 13 different Bobcats scoring at least one goal so far this season.
Schedule Breakdown
The Bobcats have 34 games slated for the 2019-20 season. Quinnipiac will face six non-conference teams including Providence, Maine, Sacred Heart, Minnesota Duluth, Merrimack and Ohio State. Of the non-conference teams, Minnesota Duluth and Ohio State were ranked in the first poll of the season at #10 and #9, respectively.
Tabin's Summer
Senior defenseman Kati Tabin was named to the BFL National Women's Development Team for Team Canada's Summer Showcase. The camp took place in Calgary at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport's Canada Olympic Park from Aug. 2-11. Eighty-nine of the Canada's top under-18 and development team talents were selected. Tabin was also invited back to camp for Hockey Canada's National Women's Team Fall Festival for the second year in a row. The camp took place in Liverpool, N.S., from Sept. 9-15, after the Summer Showcase.
