HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team picked up its third consecutive win to open the season Friday night as the Bobcats shut out the No. 18 Boston College Eagles, 1-0, in front of a sold-out crowd of 3,625 in the Frank Perrotti Jr. Arena at the People's United Center.

Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) rocketed home a power-play goal for his second of the season and Keith Petruzzelli (Wilbraham, Massachusetts) tallied his first career shutout in the Bobcats dominant victory.

SCORING SUMMARY

(17:35, 1st period) – Quinnipiac 1, Boston College 0: The Bobcats opened the scoring while on the 5-on-3 power play with 2:25 to go in the third period. Priskie reeled in a pass from Brandon Fortunato (North Hills, New York) and rifled a one-timer into the top right shelf for his second goal of the season to give Quinnipiac the early lead. Brogan Rafferty (Dundee, Illinois) was also credited with an assist.

Fortunato picked up the primary assist on Priskie's power-play goal to give him points in two straight games after his first goal of the season on Tuesday against UConn
Rafferty picked up his first assist and point of 2018 as he recorded the secondary helper on Priskie's goal.
With Rafferty's assist, 12 different players have recorded a point through the first three games of the season
