Priskie Scores 5-on-3 Power-Play Goal for Lone Tally, Bobcats Improve to 3-0-0
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team picked up its third consecutive win to open the season Friday night as the Bobcats shut out the No. 18 Boston College Eagles, 1-0, in front of a sold-out crowd of 3,625 in the Frank Perrotti Jr. Arena at the People's United Center.
Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) rocketed home a power-play goal for his second of the season and Keith Petruzzelli (Wilbraham, Massachusetts) tallied his first career shutout in the Bobcats dominant victory.

- (17:35, 1st period) – Quinnipiac 1, Boston College 0: The Bobcats opened the scoring while on the 5-on-3 power play with 2:25 to go in the third period. Priskie reeled in a pass from Brandon Fortunato (North Hills, New York) and rifled a one-timer into the top right shelf for his second goal of the season to give Quinnipiac the early lead. Brogan Rafferty (Dundee, Illinois) was also credited with an assist.
- Quinnipiac remains unbeaten against Boston College in four all-time meetings, improving to 3-0-1 since their first encounter in the 2016 NCAA Frozen Four Semifinals
- Official attendance was 3,625 Friday night, the largest crowd at Quinnipiac game since the same number of fans watch last season's game against Yale on Nov. 18, 2017

- Petruzzelli's biggest save of the game came in the second period as he made a point-blank save on a shot from Logan Hutsko directly on top of the crease after receiving a pass and making a great move to bring the puck to his forehand
- Fortunato picked up the primary assist on Priskie's power-play goal to give him points in two straight games after his first goal of the season on Tuesday against UConn
- Rafferty picked up his first assist and point of 2018 as he recorded the secondary helper on Priskie's goal.
- With Rafferty's assist, 12 different players have recorded a point through the first three games of the season
- Sophomore Karlis Cukste (Riga, Latvia) led Quinnipiac with three blocked shots in Friday's win
