Quinnipiac Men's Ice Hockey Dealt 5-3 Loss To Maine

HAMDEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team lost to Maine, 5-3, in the second game of a two-game series at Frank Perrotti, Jr. Arena. The loss drops Quinnipiac to 6-10-2 on the season while the Black Bears improve to 8-7-1.
Senior Tanner MacMaster (Calgary, Alberta) scored twice, to give him three goals on the weekend, and also push his season total to a team-leading eight goals for the year. Landon Smith (Greenwood Village, Colorado) and Odeen Tufto (Chaska, Minnesota) had two assists in the game while Logan Mick (Armstrong, British Columbia) scored his third goal of the season.

- 8:44, 2nd Period (Quinnipiac 1, Maine 1): Emil Westerlund picked up a rebound and slammed home the game-tying goal, top-shelf, off an initial shot from Brendan Robbins.
