- (1:32,1st | QU 1, RPI 0): Odeen Tufto (Chaska, Minnesota) won a battle on the wall along the blue line in the Engineer's defensive zone and sent it into the corner. Tanner MacMaster (Calgary, Alberta) picked up the puck behind the RPI goal and fed Landon Smith in the slot. Smith maneuvered around a defenseman, spun and flipped the puck over the shoulder of RPI's Chase Perry.
- (3:23, 1st | QU 2, RPI 0): On the power play, Craig Martin (Trail, British Columbia) fed Tufto at the blue line, who then sent a pass to his right to Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida). Priskie's slapshot tucked under Perry's arm to give the Bobcats a two-goal lead.
- (12:34, 1st | QU 2, RPI 1): RPI moved the puck around the Bobcats' end before XXXX fed Will Reilly below the face-off circle to Quinnipiac goalie Keith Petruzzelli's (Wilbraham, Massachusetts) right. Reilly slid between the face-off circle and the goal line before wristing a shot to the opposite post to cut Quinnipiac's lead in half.
- (18:38, 1st | QU 3, RPI 1): On the power play, Tufto held the puck behind the RPI goal before running it to the boards for Priskie. Priskie, drawing a defender, slid the puck with a no-look pass to Bo Pieper (Roseville, Minnesota) in the slot. Pieper then spied Martin on the opposite post who one-timed Pieper's pass for his second of the year and his second point of the night.
- (7:24, 2nd | QU 3, RPI 2): Jacob Hayhurst scored his fourth of the season off a loose puck in the crease to pull the Engineers within a goal.
- (9:24, 2nd | QU 3, RPI 3): Petruzzelli made three saves on shots between the face-off circles, but the third kicked off his pads and caromed off a skate of a Bobcat defenseman before trickling into the goal to tie the game.
- (18:28, 3rd) | RPI 4, QU 3): Viktor Liljegren scored his second of the night on a breakaway to give the Engineers a 4-3 lead with less than two minutes to play.
- (19:51, 3rd | RPI 5, QU 3): With the goalie pulled, Liljegren potted his third goal of the game to seal RPI's 5-3 win.
