The Bobcats' Last Time Out
• On Saturday, Oct. 24, Quinnipiac completed the two-game sweep of then-ranked No. 9 St. Cloud State with a 4-1 victory at High Point Solutions Arena.
• Travis St. Denis (Trail, British Columbia) turned in his second consecutive two-goal game, giving him a team-best six goals for the year.
• Michael Garteig (Prince George, British Columbia) stopped a career-high 41 shots in goal to improve to 6-0-0 on the year while also recording his 52nd career victory.
• SCSU's Charlie Lindgren started the series with the longest scoreless streak to start a season in NCAA history before Quinnipiac tagged him for nine goals in the series.

• The PairWise Ranking is a system which attempts to mimic the method used by the NCAA Selection Committee to determine participants for the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament. The PWR compares all teams by these criteria: record against common opponents, head-to-head competition, and the RPI.

The Bobcats On ESPN
Quinnipiac men's ice hockey junior Devon Toews' (Abbotsford, British Columbia) goal against Maine on Tuesday, Oct. 20 was featured on ESPN SportsCenter's Top 10 as the No. 5 play of the day. Toews' power play goal against the Black Bears gave the No. 14 Bobcats a 3-0 lead in a game they would eventually win, 4-0.
The Bobcats and The ECAC Hockey Weekly Awards
The Bobcats fresh off a weekend sweep of St. Cloud State, swept the ECAC Hockey Weekly Awards with Travis St. Denis (Trail, British Columbia) earning Player of the Week honors, Michael Garteig (Prince George, British Columbia) winning Goalie of the Week and Chase Priskie (Pembroke Pines, Florida) named Rookie of the Week on Oct. 27.
The Bobcats and The ECAC Hockey Monthly Awards
Quinnipiac men's ice hockey seniors Travis St. Denis (Trail, British Columbia) and Michael Garteig (Prince George, British Columbia) were honored by ECAC Hockey with monthly awards. St. Denis was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Month while Garteig earned his fourth Goalie of the Month award of his career.
• For the month of October, St. Denis led all ECAC Hockey skaters in goals (6), goals per game (1.00) as well as two-goal games (2).
• St. Denis opened the season with a two-assist night in a 5-3 win at Holy Cross before scoring his first goal of the year against the Crusaders on the following night in the Bobcats' home opener. He scored his next time out in a 5-0 win against Arizona State.
• St. Denis capped the month with back-to-back two-goal games in a two-game sweep of No. 9 St. Cloud State to capture ECAC Hockey Player of the Week honors.
• For the month of October, Garteig was 6-0-0 with a .947 save percentage and a 1.33 goals-against average.
