
Bobcats Drop MAAC Opener vs. Siena

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse fell vs. Siena in its MAAC opener, 18-11, on Saturday afternoon in Hamden.
Nate Watson scored five goals and added an assist to lead the way for the Bobcats. Justin Robbert and Giovanni Guerrette each found the back of the cage twice as well.
Quinnipiac moves to 1-5 with the result.

Siena scored the first six goals of the contest over the first 16:26 of action.
Giovanni Guerrette got the Bobcats on the board with 11:42 left in the second quarter of action. Nate Watson and Ethan McGerald both found of the back of the cage in the first half, as well.
Justin Robbert got the scoring started in the third quarter of play, scoring off a feed from McGerald to cut the deficit to 9-4.
The Saints then scored three straight to extend the lead back to eight goals. Siena outscored QU 7-4 in the third in total.
The Bobcats scored four goals in the fourth.
