EDISON, NJ – The Quinnipiac men's lacrosse program earned five all-conference awards for the 2026 season, as announced by the MAAC office on Tuesday, April 28.
Goalie Evan Miner was named to the All-MAAC First Team. Nate Watson, Joe Konesco, and Tommy Andruzzi earned All-MAAC Second Team status, and first-year Bobcat Duncan Zielke was selected to the All-Rookie squad.
Evan Miner impressed in front of the cage for the Bobcats in 2026. He checked into 10 different contests, posting 10+ saves on eight separate occasions. Miner made 143 total saves and allowed just 101 goals over 560+ minutes on the field. He made 22 saves during the Bobcats' postseason contest at Merrimack – good for the fifth-highest single game save total of any Division I player in 2026. Miner earned MAAC Defensive Player of the Week on April 26.
Nate Watson finished the 2026 campaign leading Quinnipiac in both goals (41) and total points (55). The junior attack led all MAAC players in total goals. He scored 24 times over eight MAAC regular season games. Watson posted eight points during the regular-season opener at UMass Lowell on 2/6, then finished the season strong with a seven-point outing during the MAAC Tournament game at Merrimack on 4/26. He reached 100 career points during the Bobcats' lone postseason game, as well.
Joe Konesco helped anchor Quinnipiac's defensive unit. He caused 22 turnovers and scooped up 20 ground balls during 2026. Konesco caused three turnovers on four separate occasions. He registered four ground balls on QU's season opener at UMass Lowell on 2/6.
Tommy Andruzzi also helped power the Bobcats' defensive effort this year, scooping up 28 ground balls and causing 13 turnovers. Andruzzi caused three turnovers at Providence on 3/18. He posted two or more ground balls in a game nine different times. The senior also scored twice – once against Mount St. Mary's on 4/11 and one time against Iona on 4/18.
Duncan Zielke burst onto the scene for Quinnipiac during his first year with the program. He posted 20 points over eight games played, registering 15 goals during that span. Zielke scored all 15 goals during MAAC play, including a four-goal effort in a victory over Iona on 4/18. He also scooped up nine ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers in 2026.
Quinnipiac finished the 2026 campaign with a 5-10 overall record. The Bobcats went 4-4 in league play, earning a spot in the MAAC Tournament for the fourth consecutive season under Head Coach Mason Poli. QU won three straight league contests to begin the month of April, including a road victory over nationally-ranked Sacred Heart on 4/4/26.
QU also placed 30 student-athletes on the MAAC Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the second-highest total of any team in the conference.
