Bobcats Win Streak Halted at Bryant

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team saw its three-game win streak halted on Saturday afternoon, falling to Bryant by a 16-13 final on the road.
EllaGrace Delmond had another standout offensive day, scoring five goals and adding an assist for a six-point outing, while younger sister Mia recorded a four-point day but the Bobcats were not able to hold off the Bryant attack.
The teams alternated the first 12 goals of the afternoon, making it a 6-6 contest at the 9:28 mark of the second quarter. The Bobcats would take a 9-7 lead into the break and extend it to 10-7 coming out of the break, but Bryant would go on a three-goal run to tie the game at 10.
Kendall Lee would give the Bobcats a 13-12 advantage with 9:20 to go but the Bulldogs would score the game's final four tallies to take the win.

The Bobcats head to spring break and then will return on Sunday, March 16 to take on East Carolina at Noon in Greenville, N.C., in their final non-conference game.

STATS AND NOTES
- Delmond recorded a season-best in goals (five) and points (six) with her performance.
- Her five tallies are tied for the most by a Bobcat this season, joining Abby Wise's five against New Hampshire on Feb. 22.
- Miller-Ayala had a career day in the midfield, recording five caused turnovers and four draw controls.
- Her five CTs are the most by a Bobcat since Melissa Murphy also tallied that number against Siena on April 12, 2023.
- Abby Wise has already set a new career-high in points, increasing her season total to 31 on the year after a goal and two assists today.
