Solari Announces Addition of Jami MacDonald to Coaching Staff

HAMDEN, Conn. — Jami MacDonald enters her first year with the Quinnipiac University women's lacrosse coaching staff in 2026-27 after a standout four-year career at Princeton University.
Jami served as a team captain for the Tigers' women's lacrosse program, ranking third all-time in program history with 274 career points. Her collegiate achievements include being named the 2026 Ivy League Attacker of the Year, earning unanimous First Team All-Ivy honors and twice being named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List.
On the global stage, Jami represented Canada at the highest levels of competition. In 2026, she was selected to the Senior Canadian National Team to represent Canada at the World Games in Tokyo and served as team captain for the 2024 U20 Canadian National Team, leading them to a Silver Medal at the World Championships in Hong Kong. There, she finished fourth overall in total scoring and was named to the All-World Team as one of the top ten players in the tournament.
Her coaching experience includes developing athletes in the Ontario Women's Field Lacrosse League with the Halton Hills Bulldogs and leading skill development clinics at Princeton University's elite winter camps. Her coaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, challenging environment where athletes build confidence, resilience, and leadership both on and off the field.
The Bobcats are coming off a conference semifinal appearance in 2026, winning 10 games for the second consecutive season, the first time that has happened since the 2010 and 2011 campaigns. They also earned back-to-back postseason victories for the first time since those two years and back-to-back Metro Conference postseason berths for the first time ever.Â
Quinnipiac also returns a pair of First Team All-Conference players from a season ago in Emma Miller-Ayala and Cate Bendowski. Brie Provenzano also returns to the field after being named to the league All-Rookie team a season ago.
