Softball Swept in Doubleheader with Niagara

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac softball team could not get the bats going on Saturday afternoon, falling in both contests against Niagara in the first two games of the three-game conference set at the Quinnipiac Softball Field.
Sydney Horan went the distance in Game 1, striking out five while allowing just one run on three hits but the Bobcats' offense was held off the board.
Niagara exploded in game two, scoring 11 in a five-inning contest to earn the series victory.

- Taylor Walton has recorded five hits in her last eight at-bats since entering the lineup on March 24. Six of her seven appearances on the season have come in the last week.
- DeMott now has a knock in eight of her last nine appearances.
