QU baseball head coach John Delaney announced a new team member, signing six-year-old Cameron Wilson through Team IMPACT in a press conference held in the Mount Carmel Campus Rec Center on Feb. 12
He will participate in many activities with the baseball team over the next two years, including games, practices, and other team events

Seeing Ian

Ian Ostberg made his return to the QU lineup on March 22 against Yale and is batting .326 with four homers, eight doubles and 24 RBIs in 23 games
Over his last 13 games, Ostberg is batting .333 with four homers, three doubles and 15 RBIs
He went 2-for-4 against Hartford on April 12, adding a double, two walks and three RBI's in the walk-off victory over the Hawks
He followed with a solo homer in the opening game of the weekend series vs. Monmouth on April 14
Ostberg went 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBIs in Quinnipiac's win over the Hawks on April 15
He closed the series with a three-hit performance in the series finale, driving in two runs in the process

Jared Zimbardo returned to Hamden for his sophomore campaign and has been lighting it up at the plate

Zimbardo tallied three hits and hit a walk-off single to lead the Bobcats past Bryant in extra innings on April 27

Michael Kohn has erupted at the plate over his last 12 games
In his last 12 games, Kohn has tallied 11 hits, including four homers and 12 RBIs
Kohn homered in three consecutive games played during the stretch
Kohn blasted a three-run homer in Quinnipiac's 8-5 victory over St. John's on March 25

Saint Anthony Donofrio

A transfer from SUNY Cortland, Anthony Donofrio took no time at all to adjust to find his fit in the Bobcats' lineup
Donofrio is batting .305, boasting 40 hits and 27 runs scored on the season as well

In the opening weekend at Saint Joseph's, Donofrio batted .462 with six hits, five RBIs and two stolen bases

Melnick led the offense in the opening series at Saint Joseph's, batting .600 with six hits, four runs scored and four RBIs in just two games played
Melnick went 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and two RBI against Saint Joseph's on Feb. 19
He followed that performance with three hits, a homer, three runs scored and four RBIs in an 18-8 victory over Saint Joseph's on Feb. 20

Gritty Garcia

Junior Brandyn Garcia has assumed the role of ace of the staff this season
Garcia is 4-6 on the season and boasts 69 strikeouts in 57.1 innings pitched
Garcia has earned a win in four of his last nine starts, with his most recent win coming in a 5-2 victory over Canisius
In the start, Garcia struck out nine and allowed just one earned run in the victory
Prior to that, he earned a win in QU's 8-4 victory over St. John's on March 25
In that contest he tossed six scoreless innings and struck out five en route to his third win of the season
Garcia earned a win in QU's 6-5 victory over George Mason on March 11
He logged seven innings and struck out 10 in the start
