#6 Bobcats Fall in ECAC Hockey Semifinal to #5 Colgate, 3-2

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The No. 6/6 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell in the ECAC Hockey semifinal game to No. 5/5 Colgate in a hard-fought 3-2 battle. Graduate student Corinne Schroeder was stellar once again in the net for Quinnipiac, tallying 38 saves. Junior Sadie Peart and sophomore Olivia Mobley scored for the Bobcats in the loss.
Colgate scored two unanswered goals in the third period after the Bobcats took a 2-1 lead to claim the 3-2 victory. The Raiders will move on to meet Yale in the ECAC Hockey finals on Saturday, March 5.
The Bobcats' season is not over yet; Quinnipiac will prepare for the NCAA Tournament beginning next week. The Selection Show is set for Sunday, March 6 at p.m., on ESPN News.

Naud shot the puck at the crease, and Mobley was there to bury the rebound past Colgate's Hannah Murphy.
- (14:06, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Colgate 2: The Raiders tied the game with a goal scored by Kalty Kaltounkova. Rosy Demers and Tanner Gates notched assists on the play.
- (16:01, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Colgate 3: The Allyson Simpson scored the game-winning goal with about four minutes remaining in the game. O'Donohoe and Serdachny added their second points of the game with assists on the goal.
- Mobley led the team with a goal and an assist for her sixth multi-point game of the season.
- Mobley and Peart now lead the team with 31 points on the season.
- Peart recorded her 13th goal of the year and fourth power play goal.
- House and Naud also added assists.
- Schroeder made 38 stops in the net.
- The Bobcats won 34 out of 57 faceoffs (59.6%). Lexie Adzija led the team with 13 individual wins.
- The Raiders out shot the Bobcats, 41-28.
