#9/9 Bobcats Shutout RPI Tuesday Night

TROY, N.Y. – The No. 9/9 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team tallied the team's eighth shutout of the season in a 4-0 road victory at RPI. Sophomore NIna Steigauf led the team with two goals in the win, and graduate student Corinne Schroeder recorded 18 saves in her fourth shutout of the season.
Steigauf, Renee Saltness and Sadie Peart all scored in the win. Quinnipiac out shot the Engineers 27-18 and improve to 22-7-3 overall with a 14-6 ECAC Hockey record. The Bobcats' 22 wins this season is the most since the 2015-16 season when Quinnipiac recorded a program-record 30 total wins.
The Bobcats hold the third seed in the ECAC Hockey standings through 20 games played. Quinnipiac could host the ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series next weekend, but that will not be confirmed until after the conclusion of the regular season.

- (8:43, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 1, RPI 0: Nina Steigauf opened the scoring in the second period with an unassisted goal scored off a turnover by RPI. She danced past RPI's Emilie Venne and scored the eventual game winner.
