
No. 4/5 Quinnipiac Knocks Off Princeton, Wins Sixth in a Row

PRINCETON, N.J. — Four different players found the net and three skaters had multi-point games as the No. 4/5 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team won its sixth in a row, knocking off Princeton 4-1 on Friday night at Hobey Baker Rink.
Skyler Brind'Amour, Joey Cipollone, Sam Lipkin and TJ Friedmann all scored for the visitors, while Ethan de Jong joined Cipollone and Friedmann with two points on the night.
Friedmann was also dominant from the faceoff circle, winning 12 of 15 draws on the night, while Yaniv Perets made 22 saves to earn the win.
STATS AND NOTES
The Bobcats and Tigers will trek up to Hamden, Conn., for a rematch on Saturday night, as a 7 p.m., puck drop is slated for M&T Bank Arena.

STATS AND NOTES
- Lipkin's goal is his first as a Bobcat, increasing his season total to eight points on the year. He has a point in three consecutive contests, with six of his eight during that span.
- Brind'Amour also has a point in three consecutive games, scoring his third goal of the campaign. Four of his season total of eight points have come over that stretch.
- Quinnipiac's sixth consecutive victory marks them one shy of Harvard and RIT for the longest active winning streak in the country. They have also won four in a row away from M&T Bank Arena, also good for the second-longest active streak.
- Both Cipollone and Friedmann recorded their second, multi-point game of the campaign. They each recorded a goal and an assist against North Dakota on Oct. 14, as well as tonight. For Cipollone, it is his sixth multi-point game as a Bobcat, while it is Friedmann's seventh.
- de Jong finished the night with multi-point game number five on the year and his first multi-helper contest of 2022-23. He has six multi-assist games over his Bobcat career and a team-high 25 multi-point performances.
- Metsa's point streak increased to three with an assist tonight. He now has six points over his last five outings and nine for the campaign.
- Legault dished his third assist over the last six games and has four points on the year.
- Jacob Quillan has points in four of his last six games and is tied for the team lead with 11 points on the year. He has five points during that stretch of six contests.
