HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac field hockey returns to action this weekend, as the Bobcats play host to Georgetown on Friday at 3 p.m., before heading to neighboring Fairfield to take on the Stags on Sunday at 1 p.m. on the road.
THE MATCHUP: vs. GEORGETOWN
● Friday's match marks the sixth ever matchup between the two programs
● Quinnipiac is 4-1 all-time in five contests against the Hoyas
● The last time the two sides faced off, Georgetown narrowly escaped with a 2-1 home victory over QU in double overtime
● Julianna Cappello led QU with the lone Bobcat goal
● Vivienne Trumpbour leads the Hoyas with four goals, four assists and 12 points on the season

● Head Coach Becca Main enters her 28th season with the Bobcats

● Head Coach Becca Main made numerous changes to her staff entering the 2022 campaign
● Previously serving as an assistant coach, Montana Fleming was elevated to Associate Head Coach on June 16
