HAMDEN, Conn. — Quinnipiac field hockey rallied hard in the fourth quarter but ultimately fell up short on Senior Day Sunday, dropping a 3-2 contest against Northeastern at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Stadium.

The Bobcats outshot Northeastern 9-1 in the final 15 minutes and were able to get a goal back, thanks to Cameron Brower on her senior day, but they could not find a second in that frame.

Brower also scored Quinnipiac's first goal of the day, deflecting home a Francisca Eschoyez shot from the top of the circle.

Cristina Torres made three saves between the posts.

STATS AND NOTES

Brower recorded her second and third goals of the season and her first multi-goal outing since her freshman season.
Eschoyez dished her third multi-assist game of her career, all coming this season.
The Bobcats had eight penalty corners on the day, with five coming in the final 15 minutes.
Nine of Quinnipiac's 13 shots also came in the final quarter.
