HAMDEN, Conn. — After a ferocious first half, the Quinnipiac field hockey team was held without a goal in the next 30 minutes and Connecticut was able to rally for a 4-2 victory at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Stadium on Friday afternoon.

The Bobcats got a pair of goals from familiar faces, as Mo Quaile and Francisca Eschoyez both found the cage to give Quinnipiac a 1-0 and 2-1 advantage, respectively.

Quinnipiac was able to hold the advantage into the fourth, but UConn fired nine of their 13 shots and three beat the Bobcats' netminder to take home the 4-2 victory.

The Bobcats' season comes to an end with a 10-8 record.

STATS AND NOTES

The Bobcats' 10 wins are the most by a Quinnipiac team since 2013 and the fifth double-digit winning season in program history.
Francisca Eschoyez added her 13^th goal of the season and now has 36 points to her name. Her 13 goals are tied for the fourth-most in a single season in program history and are the most by a Bobcat since 2013.
The 36 points put her alone in second, three points off the program record.
Quaile finished her career senior season with seven goals.
