HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac field hockey program has revealed its schedule for the 2026 season, as announced by Head Coach Nina Klein on Tuesday, June 30.
The Bobcats' slate features 19 contests, including eight NEC matchups and 11 non-conference games.
Quinnipiac returns to the NEC after competing in the Big East since 2016. The program was previously a full-time NEC member from 1998-2013, capturing the inaugural NEC Field Hockey Championship in 1999 and adding three conference tournament titles and four regular-season championships during its time in the league.
The Bobcats posted a 3-0 record against current NEC opponents last season, defeating Stonehill, Merrimack and Wagner while outscoring the trio 15-1.
Quinnipiac begins the season with back-to-back home games, welcoming Bryant on Aug. 28 and Vermont on Aug. 30.
The Bobcats then open September with road contests at Bucknell on Sept. 4 and Brown on Sept. 6 before returning home to host Hofstra in the program's Mental Health Awareness Game on Sept. 11.
Following a bye week, Quinnipiac kicks off NEC play against Sacred Heart on Sept. 18 at Yale University's Johnson Field and closes the weekend in New York to face Columbia on Sept. 20.
The Bobcats are back in Hamden for home games against Rider on Sept. 27 and Wagner on Oct. 2, with the Wagner matchup serving as the program's Breast Cancer Awareness and Bobcat Weekend game.
Quinnipiac travels to LIU on Oct. 9 before welcoming Dartmouth for Senior Day on Oct. 18. The Bobcats then make the short trip to face New Haven on Oct. 23.
The regular season concludes with a pair of home contests, as Quinnipiac hosts Yale for Youth Day on Oct. 25 and Stonehill on Oct. 30.
The Bobcats are coming off their first 10-win season since 2013 and just the fifth double-digit win campaign in program history, finishing the 2025 season with a 10-8 overall record.
