Bobcats Defeat Maine, 3-2, in Season Opener

Hoskin-Peart-Steiguaf line shine in win
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team defeated the Maine Black Bears, 3-2, on Friday night to open the 2021-22 season. Sophomore Nina Steigauf and juniors Alexa Hoskin and Sadie Peart led the team with a combined five points recorded together in the win as linemates.
Steigauf, Hoskin and redshirt-junior Courtney Vorster all scored for Quinnipiac. Redshirt-junior Logan Angers made 20 saves in the net and earned her first win of the year.

- Peart and Hoskin led the team with two points each in the Bobcats' season-opening win.
