WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY
- Sunday, March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day.
- The Bobcats' men's soccer program is celebrating a member of our team, Sam Hayden, by wearing "crazy socks" pregame.
- Team IMPACT's Sam Hayden joined Quinnipiac in October of 2019. The Bobcats announced the addition of Hayden – a Cheshire, Connecticut native – at a Draft Day press conference on Monday, Oct. 14, 2019 at the People's United Center in Hamden. Hayden is 14 years old, and joins Quinnipiac men's soccer at various team activities, including practices and games.
- The Bobcats earned a double-overtime victory in their first contest of the 2021 spring season, edging Fairfield 1-0 on the road at Lessing Field on Thursday.
- Alex Holle scored in the 108th minute on a feed from Brage Aasen – sending Quinnipiac back to Hamden with the win. The goal is Holle's second career score.
- Following the win over in-state rival Fairfield, QU was featured in New England Soccer Journal.
- Head Coach Eric Da Costa has a 116-109-52 record during his time at Quinnipiac, and has led the Bobcats to a postseason conference tournament appearance in eight straight seasons (2012 in the NEC, 2013-19 in the MAAC).
- Since joining the MAAC prior to the 2013 season, Quinnipiac has appeared in three MAAC Tournament title contests (2013, 2016, 2018). Under Da Costa's tutelage, the Bobcats have posted an impressive 45-15-11 mark in regular season MAAC games.
- Quinnipiac has been tabbed No. 2 in the 2020-21 MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league office on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

- The program went 9-6-3 overall, winning six of its last eight games to conclude the regular season schedule.
- The Bobcats advanced to the MAAC semifinals, falling vs. Iona.
- Tomas Svecula recorded 16 points during his first campaign with the Bobcats, earning MAAC Rookie of the Year honors. - Svecula, Brage Aasen and Henry Weigand earned All-Rookie status for the Bobcats, as well, marking the first time Quinnipiac has placed three or more student-athletes on the All-Rookie team since 2016 (Chrysostomos Iakovidis, Jeppe Haehre, Conor McCoy, Eamon Whelan).
- The Bobcats earned eight total honors in the conference's All-MAAC Awards. Eamon Whelan was named to the All-MAAC First Team, while Romain Daniellou, Conor McCoy and Jared Mazzola were selected to the All-MAAC Second Team.
