QU Scores 3 Times in Second Half, Wins to Clinch Postseason Berth

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Quinnipiac men's soccer battled to a road win at Merrimack on Wednesday night, clinching a MAAC Tournament berth with a 3-2 victory.
The Bobcats scored all three goals in the second half to earn the come-from-behind victory.
Luke Schierenbeck, Benjamin Telle, and Sivert Ryssdalsnes all scored for QU.
Schierenbeck tied the game 1-1 at 66:06, blasting a shot into the back of the net with his right foot for his third goal of the season.
Benjamin Telle broke the tie with his second goal of the season. Drew Seguro dribbled into the box and blasted a shot, then Telle cleaned up the deflection to give QU its first lead of the night.
Sivert Ryssdalsnes scored Quinnipiac's third and final goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 72nd minute.
Merrimack would score just four minutes later to make it 3-2, but the Bobcats would hold on for the victory.
