
Da Costa, Men's Soccer Unveils 2026 Slate

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac men's soccer team and head coach Eric Da Costa released the 2026 schedule on Monday afternoon, with the Bobcats unveiling a 15-game regular-season slate that begins on Aug. 20 and will conclude at home on Nov. 4.
A new opponent raises the curtain on the 2026 campaign, as the Bobcats will travel to Missouri State to take on the Bears out of the American Conference on Aug. 20 before a strong, regional slate rounds out its non-conference schedule.
Quinnipiac will welcome Providence to Hamden for a Monday afternoon contest on Aug. 24, with that followed by a pair of trips to New Haven as the club will take on Yale on Aug. 28 and New Haven on Sept. 2.
The team rounds out its home, non-conference slate by taking on Stony Brook out of the Coastal at the Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium on Sept. 9.
Metro Conference play begins on Sept. 19 with a road contest at Rider, with Fairfield coming to town on Sept. 26 for the final Metro battle between the two conference rivals.
After a midweek contest at Manhattan on Sept. 30, the Bobcats return home to welcome Canisius on Oct. 3 for a Saturday afternoon bout.
A pair of road contests await with trips to Saint Peter's on Oct. 10 and Sacred Heart on Oct. 14 on the docket but Quinnipiac will close with three of its final four at home.
Mount St. Mary's comes to town on Oct. 24 before a postseason rematch between the Bobcats and Iona Gaels commences on Oct. 28.
The final road league match is on Halloween, as Quinnipiac treks to the Capital District to take on Siena on Oct. 31 before the regular season finale on Nov. 4 at home against Merrimack.
The Metro postseason will again be a six-team format, with the third and fourth seeds hosting on Nov. 7, the top two seeds playing home in a semifinal on Nov. 14 and the championship match on Nov. 14 at the highest remaining seed.
On the offensive end, William Holum leads the returning Bobcats after a nine-point season in 2025, totaling four goals and adding an assist. The back end is anchored by a pair of returners in Sixten Karlsson and Fynn Ost, both of whom logged over 1150 minutes in defense for Quinnipiac last season.
The Bobcats qualified for the Metro postseason after a 15-point campaign a year ago, bowing out in the quarterfinals to third-seeded Iona. Overall, they finished the year 7-10-1.
