HAMDEN, Conn. – Ten Bobcats recorded points as the Quinnipiac women's basketball team defeated Siena, 84-63, on Wednesday afternoon in Hamden.
Sophomore forward Mikala Morris recorded her seventh double-double of the season, as she recorded 21 points and 10 rebounds in 28 minutes of action. The Springfield, Ohio native also tallied four blocks and two steals in the victory.
Junior guard Mackenzie DeWees recorded her fourth double-double of the season, tallying 13 points and 11 rebounds. The Westminster, Md. native dished out six assists and recorded three steals.
First-year guard Jillian Casey scored a career-high 11 points in the win. The Horseheads, N.Y. native shot 2-of-3 from behind the arc and made all three of her free throw attempts.
