Women's Basketball Announces Full 2026-27 Schedule

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team has revealed its 2026-27 schedule, featuring 11 non-conference contests and 20 regular-season Metro games.
The Bobcats' non-conference slate features eleven total games, including five home contests at the M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, four road contests, and two neutral site games. Of the eleven non-league opponents, four were selected to compete in last season's postseason tournaments, with one going to both the NCAA Tournament and the WBIT, and two battling in the WNIT.
The new season will begin on Monday, Nov. 3, as the Bobcats open the campaign at home against St. Joseph's University (Long Island). The Golden Eagles compete in the Skyline Conference in Division III and saw their season end in the first round of the conference tournament, losing to Farmingdale State College 43-37.
Just three days later, the Bobcats will hit the road for the first time of the season to play Vermont in game one of the Metro/America East Challenge. The two teams last faced off in the 2024-25 season, with the Bobcats heading to Burlington to defeat the Catamounts 68-63. QU will wrap up the Metro/America East Challenge at home against UMBC on November 8th. This will be the first time the Bobcats and Retrievers will face off since 2003.
Quinnipiac's non-conference slate continues with a road contest at St. John's on November 11th. The Red Storm came to Hamden last season to defeat the Bobcats 53-51 in comeback fashion. This will be Quinnipiac's first-ever trip to Carnesecca Arena in Queens.
After taking on the Red Storm, Quinnipiac will return home for a pair of non-conference contests, welcoming Boston University (November 14) and Yale (November 16). Last season, the Bobcats defeated both the Terriers and the Bulldogs away from Hamden.
The Bobcats will continue their season on the road at Colgate on November 19th after defeating the Raiders in Hamden last year (77-50, November 23rd). Quinnipiac will then head to Tempe, Arizona for Thanksgiving week as they will face Wake Forest and Cal. State Bakersfield on back-to-back days (Nov. 28-29) at Arizona State.
QU will open the month of December on the road in Maine (Dec. 6). The Bobcats and Black Bears will face off for the fourth straight season and the seventh time in program history. Coach Owen and his squad will return to Hamden to close out their non-conference slate on December 13th as they welcome the Boston College Eagles to Hamden for just the second time in program history. Quinnipiac walked into Chestnut Hill last season and came away with a convincing 76-49 victory.
The Bobcats open their conference slate at home for the third straight season, hosting the Iona Gaels on December 19th. Two days later, the Bobcats will head to Loudonville, NY, to take on the Siena Saints. Quinnipiac will make their first trip to Loudonville since January 9th, 2025.
Quinnipiac will return from the holiday break on Tuesday, December 29th, hosting the Rider Broncs at M&T Bank Arena. For the second straight season, the Bobcats will play on New Year's Day, taking on the Saint Peter's Peacocks at the Yanitelli Center.
QU continues their Metro schedule with a pair of home contests against Merrimack (Jan. 3) and Manhattan (Jan. 7) before heading back out for a couple of road contests at Marist (Jan. 9) and Niagara (Jan. 16).
After making the trip to Niagara, the Bobcats return to Hamden on Monday, Jan. 18, to take on the Sacred Heart Pioneers. QU continues that week on the road at Iona (Jan. 21), taking on the Gaels for the second time of the season. Two days later, the Bobcats will make the short trip to Fairfield to take on the Stags at Leo D. Mahoney Arena.

QU will battle the Saint Peter's Peacocks on February 25th for their final home contest of the regular season before wrapping up the regular season at Merrimack on February 27th.
