Rose Caverly Leads Offense with 17 Points
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team completed the weekend sweep of Fairfield, winning Saturday's game, 60-44. Junior guard Rose Caverly scored in double-digits for the second straight game, tallying 17 points In the victory.
The Bobcats celebrated senior day prior to the game, honoring Vanessa Udoji and Chiara Bacchini.
Sophomore forward Cat Almeida saw her first action since recovering from cancer in the fall. The Clifton Park, N.Y. recorded a block within the first minute of her hitting the floor.
