Quinnipiac Wins Fourth Straight
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team earned a wire-to-wire victory over the Rider Broncs, 72-50, on Friday afternoon in New Jersey. The Bobcats led the game for 39:31, while Rider did not lead at all.
Three different Bobcats scored in double-figures, led by sophomore forward Mikala Morris. The Springfield, Ohio native scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. She is one of 50 players in the country to record at least five double-doubles this season.
Junior guard Amani Free grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds in the victory. The Syracuse, N.Y. native added eight points for the Bobcats. Redshirt senior guard Vanessa Udoji recorded season-highs in points and rebounds. Udoji finished the game with six points and four rebounds.
