20 Student-Athletes Earn ECAC All-Academic Nod

Prater Named to Commissioner's List
ALBANY, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's hockey team had 20 student-athletes earn the ECAC All-Academic Team honors after the conclusion of the 2019-20 season and academic year, as announced by the league on Monday. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, or a GPA over a 3.00 over the last three semesters.
A record number of women's hockey players were honored by the ECAC as eligible members of the All-Academic Team.
Each sophomore, junior and senior named to the team for Quinnipiac has been honored every year they have been student-athletes. Kenzie Prater '20 was named to the Commissioner's List, which showcases each program's top scholar. The seniors on the list have been named to the ECAC All-Academic Team for four years straight.
The Quinnipiac women's hockey program had 19 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team last year, and has consistently been one of the top academic programs in the ECAC.
