Bobcats Come Up Short Against Villanova
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's basketball junior guard Mackenzie DeWees tallied her first double-double of the season in the Bobcats 63-60 loss to Villanova on Sunday afternoon at the People's United Center.
The Westminster, Md. native led the Bobcats with 16 points and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes of action.

- Villanova started the game on an 11-0 run over the first four minutes. DeWees got the Bobcats on the board with two free throws.
- After the 11-0 run, the Bobcats settled into the game and outscored the Wildcats 12-10 over the final six minutes of the first quarter.
- The Bobcats outscored the Wildcats by two in the second quarter to cut their deficit to seven going into the half.
- Quinnipiac scored the first four points of the second half to cut the Wildcats lead to three after a DeWees layup.
